ذرائع کے مطابق نواز شر یف کا کہنا ہے کہ قومی اسمبلی میں مسلم لیگ ن کے نمائندے موجود ہیں اور ایسے میں ان کی شرکت کرنے کی کو ئی وجہ نہیں ہے۔ یہاں یہ چیز قابل غور ہے کہ دو نقطہ نظر سامنے آئے ہیں جس میں مسلم لیگ ن کا نقطہ نظر یہ ہے کہ ایبٹ آباد آپریشن کیلئے عدالتی یا قومی اسمبلی کی پارلیمانی کمیٹی کو تحقیقات کرنی چاہیے جبکہ حکومت نے اس معاملے کی تحقیقات کیلئے لیفٹیننٹ جنرل جاوید اقبال کی سربراہی میں تحقیقاتی کمیٹی قائم کی ہے ۔ ​

Nawaz demands judicial probe on Abbottabad operation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has termed the Abbottabad operation, carried out by the US, culminating in the death of Osama bin Laden, failure of the countrys intelligence agencies, and demanded the government to constitute a judicial commission to investigate into the incident.

Addressing a press conference following partys meeting here on Wednesday, Nawaz rejected the governments internal military probe and said judicial commission be given a 21-day timeframe to complete investigation and the facts be made public after the probe.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Monday announced that a lieutenant general would head an inquiry to get to the bottom of how, when and why bin Laden had been hiding in the garrison town. Sharif called for the government to establish a revised commission within three days headed by the countrys top judge and not the military.

This commission should ascertain the full facts of Osama bin Ladens presence and the American operation in Pakistan, he said. The world is raising fingers on Pakistan after the incident, the PML-N leader said and added that armed forces had not given satisfactory answer. agencies

Mian Nawaz Sharif is correct. there should be judicial investigation rather than a serving Army Personel. Most of the facts would remain unexplored otherwise.......

So now he is playing dirty politics to get into the fame once more. You can imagine how low he can go. But on the other hand it is a good thing, some body need to give danda to this Kiyani.

Every General is worth One Billion
They should be answerable to someone
and this is the time they are made answerable

objective is not to malign them but if we have Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir or Mohammad Asif like in our Army
They should be brought to justice and only judicial commission can do that
How can Lt a General seek answer from his colleagues or seniors...

Nawaz sharif was always pro establishment but this time establishment arranged a marriage b/t PMLQ and PPPP which was very teasing for Nawaz sharif and company..........They easily blackmailed PPPP but now they cannot do that even in punjab along with PMLQ PPPP has strong position same is position in senate.

This has made PMLN to shout against their previous facilitators i.e agencies ,that can be seen from CH.nisar's statements against agencies........
And Now Nawaz sharif has no concern about this event he is only trying to level the score against agencies and PPPP in one go.

PMLN would never have made this demand if PMLQ nad PPPP alliance was not made by agencies.In short Nawaz sharif wants to show agencies that he is still a powerful leader and agencies shd back him for next elections.

A very clear and obvious thing is there should be a clean inquiry and who ever is responsible for the mess should be brought to justice thats it. Its a great stance he has taken. And i hope we can find the truth. We always told lies. No more lies only the truth and i cannot find a single leader in pakistan who can take on army like Nawaz have. All the politicians with small brains were asking for resignations.. Its only nawaz who did not blamed any one but asked for a commision to tell the nation what the truth is.
Thats how it should be. Truth and only truth and we know all the army will try to do whatever they could for not telling the truth.

Ch Nisar says it and we believe it at its face value, he never had such reputation.
Army is playing a dirty game, they are vying for a weak Govt after Zardari, a coalition govt, we need a very strong govt as at least a govt of like minded not Bhan Matti Ka Kunba where Qatil Maqtool League sit on the same table to rule us. They projected themselves as Religious Liberal Leftists Rightists but all sitting on same table and no clear policy.

I know you don't like any political leader and just beginning to like IK so I will not risk of suggesting any future political setup but whatever the setup, it must be a strong one party govt to give a clear direction to the country rather than blackmailed by every group.
Army should stay away from political affairs as this is a recipe for further disaster.
