Nawaz enticing MQM for grand Opp alliance
PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has welcomed MOM in opposition and declared grand alliance a must.
Nawaz said if formation of a grand opposition alliance was necessary to get rid of the current government, it must be formed.
Talking to the media in Lahore after meeting with the PML-N Balochistan office-bearers, Nawaz underlined the need for eliminating the sense of deprivation in Baluchistan. He called for investigation into Akbar Bugti’s killing.
About the energy crisis in the country, Nawaz said the government has been unable to take steps to improve the situation. He said PML-Q chief’s statement undermining the need for a probe into the Abbottabad incident, was beyond comprehension. “Shujaat must have been handed over a written statement to read out,” Nawaz said.
The PML-N chief lamented that Pakistan’s name was amongst the failed state (ranked 10th). He said the political parties are considered to be the custodians of the people’s future but sadly Pakistan’s political parties had been doing quite the contrary. Nawaz said drones are taking off from within Pakistan but the government was trying to hoodwink the people. He said the party was promoting honest workers who could help the country in the best possible manner.
Nawaz Sharif is expected to leave for London and have a meeting with MQM chief Altaf Hussain there. He is also likely to have meetings with UK officials.
