National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) beneficiaries list goes missing
KARACHI: List of about 2500 beneficiaries of National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) has been allegedly found missing in Interior Department Sindh. Sources told this news agency Monday that a law enforcement agency had called NRO beneficiaries list from Interior Department Sindh a few days earlier but the list was found missing.
Sources informed the list contained names of 2500 leading members of PPP, MQM and PML-Q. Two officials of Interior Department, who benefited from the NRO, were also included in the list. Interior Department Sindh had already sent a list of beneficiaries of NRO to Sindh High Court tribunal. However office copy of list had been taken away mysteriously from the office. Investigations are underway to ascertain if the list is misplaced or has been removed from the office deliberately.-Online
