Money, Usury and Jews. Why Jews were the "hated people"

I recently started reading this book called "Debt - the last 5000 years". And it has some very interesting historical background to explain about our current perceptions. Found something about Jews and why jews have always been linked to Debt and Usury. Check this out

The cultural hate people have against jews has been programmed into them culturally from past events. Notice another thing. Jews in general were the victims. And if you still find it hard to believe, take this fact - There were 1500 Pakistani jews when Pakistan came into existence. Today, there are none.

First is based on modern principle where there is no exploitation if you maintain a good credit institutions offer you money for RENT at a very fair price. I have benefited from this a great deal. Jews are the smartest and the most hard working people I have worked with in my entire professional life so far. Their entire lives are devoted to their careers.

Opposite to the popular propaganda spread by the TV and print media, I have been cheated (if you want to label them by religion) over by more Muslims and Christians.

Also during the course of my company's outsourcing of force, Indians were a delight too. I am not sure about the Northern Hindu Indians but my entire dealings were homed in Kerala.

I have no doubt in my mind that personal morality/ethics has absolutely nothing to do with personal faith or religion. One could be Athiest or gay and still have the highest level of professional ethics.

I have had horrible experiences with people of Arabic backgrounds. And worse with origins of the South Asian origin.

I feel the political landscape of the origin of person tends to make a huge impact on the person. East Europeans in their mid 40s are not as motivated as West Europeans. I find Americans less least about fashion/image/class/creed/caste (or what others think) compared to Brits.

I am just half way thru my life and have alot more to learn and experience. Just my observation

وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ يَدُ اللَّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُوا بِمَا قَالُوا بَلْ يَدَاهُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُوا نَارًا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللَّهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

Very acceptable statements.

American public again on contrary popular mythical belief are more open minded than Europeans and Asians. You want to be a racist in America and earn money go for it and it provides you the greens for it. You want to be a peace broker in America and earn money go for it and it provides you the greens for it.

Its the only country in the world that can do that. No other is even close. This comes from current and past working experience.

Yes but we all highly doubt it would be because he was a jew or a muslim or christian at least when it comes to professional experience.

We are all mean inside. Some show it less. Others show it more. Over all we all suck.

There was a good community of Jewish Pakistanis in Karachi... along with Qadianis, Agha Khanis and Hindus... 60% pf urban population of Sindh was Hindu before the partition... these were the wealthy businessmen but almost all of them left after parition

Would it be wrong to assume that those families, regardless of their faith, were the original people of of the "village of Mai Kolachi"? Must have been cultured people after growing on the same land surrounded with its own generations for 100s maybe 1000s of years. When those sort of ppl leave, I presume it must have been a cultural loss to that land.

I wont even commit on those who want to view everything from the prism of religion. Religion is a function of perceived reality. What they perceive as the TRUTH is a mere perception of THEIR reality. When humans realize that we cant even understand ourselves properly, we may start to realize that understand the perception of the Creator requires immense humility and patience.

Most of the Indians on top of Forbes list... Ambanis, Birlas, Mittals are either from Sindh or surrounding areas such as Rajasthan and Gujrat.
During Partition there were no riots in Sindh, the refugees arriving from India started rioting against Sindhi Hindus and drove them out. Sindhi Hindus are still some of worlds wealthiest businessmen, In return we received an uncontrollable influx of refugees in places like Karachi.. Due to which it was decided to federalize 50% of sales tax to cope with the influx of refugees as Karachi at that time was Federal Capital territory (before sales tax was entirely in domain of Provincial govt). Karachi used to be the most important port city in the region, with some of worlds top airlines being based here, now its been completely destroyed by violence.
In 1974, Sales tax was completely Federalized, Capital was moved to Islamabad sometime before that. Tax revenues were now apportioned on the basis of Population (after 1971 Punjab was now the majority population.) Had they done this apportionment before the 1971 it would have saved half of Pakistan but clearly it was not done with good intentions.

Today we have an Islamic country consisting of 4 provinces, and in this Islamic democracy 1 province has more mandate than the other 3 provinces put together.

Pakistan ban ne me sab se bara haath Sindhi, Mohajir aur Bangali ka tha aur teeno is Pakistan me darpadar hain , Punjab was part of Unionist govts which consisted of Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims... Whereas Muslim League was based in Sindh and Bengal...

Not sure what you people see or whom you met for me I follow what Quran says. When history shows us that it was the jews that were responsible for first and second world war.

Even if you read history of the Holt Prophet pbuh you will see that it was the jews that were responsible for most of Rasulullah's pbuh hardship after emigration to Madinah, so I am not so sympathetic to them.

peronsal practices should not be linked with religion. Religion should be evaluated based on its teachings....

and no doubt Islam has the best teachings in the world...

I would ask you to rather read the Tafsir of The quran rather than some book portraying their "misery".

They are clever people, they are the richest people in the world today.

Actually - I see a lot of talk about religion and comparing it with Islam.

I would like to say one thing just for the sake of proper definition of Religion. Whereas the west defines religion as something to be kept inside the house and for outside it including the government - they call it secularism. Actually secularism is infact a religion - Keep God inside your home, outside its all Atheism and if you wish to bring God outside it - we will not tolerate it.

On the other hand - Islam does not define it that way - Allah is both inside and outside - everywhere - his kingdom is everywhere and if someone feel that keeping Allah just inside the home is fine and outside we have to accept what Securlars/Atheist say - then this is not Islam - This may be anything else (even Shirk - accepting two Gods) but not Islam. Inside the home, your God is Allah and outside it is the Atheist leader of the nation / people / parliament.

The christian quote - "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's". This quote has been attributed to Jesus (AS) and found in synoptic gospel, Matthews (22:21). The Muslims are somehow confused that this quote is applicable to Islam also - but it is not. In Islam, even Ceaser authority is below that of God and therefore if any of his actions / commands are against the commandment of God, we cannot and should not accept it. Even if we have to accept it under his forceful authority, we have to accept very unwillingly and under protest.

This particular post of mine has nothing to do with the main subject of this thread - but I felt because of the improper definition of Religion - or to be more accurate - differences in opinion regarding the proper definition of religion - the results derived may not be reliable.
