Laptop Scheme:Student Donated his "LAPTOP" to PTI ..

Its bad because its a stupid scheme (whoever starts it) where the money meant for government schools is being used to buy votes. Anyone with a brain would say its completely stupid and improving standards in worn-down government schools should have top priority, while PMLN lovers will say its a great thing. Is there anyone in their right minds who will say "to hell with government schools, leave them broken and filthy, lets just give away free laptops with our name on it and lets advertise our 'great deed' on roads and in newspapers on taxpayers money"

As for the student, the laptop was given to him, its his property now and he can do whatever he likes with it, PTI accepts donations from its members, its not Khadim-e-Ala property so whats your problem? Do tell me what you think about the bold part above.

but saying Laptop scheme is useless scheme is overstatement ..
Do you think Tamil Nadu bought more than 4 laptops for scams too ?? every major US university give laptop to its student too .. even when I was in GIKI I was given pc during last year ..
Most of the schools in Punjab are not that bad .. some do need improvement but that doesnt mean to offer something good until other issue is resolved ... its like you telling someone to not to pray if they are not going to pay Zakaat .. both are important but it doesnt mean you stop doing one if you are not doing both ..

thanks for information...now its show that CM had distributed without any difference. Students are belonging to any party. every eligible student had benefited from it.

Students loyalty with Imran Khan cost Shahbaz Sharif


Siakot, Punjab: A die hard supporter of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, studying business administration, who has received a laptop from Punjabs students uplift program has donated his laptop to PTI district office. Asad Ali, A student of Bachelor in Business Administration at Government Murray College Sialkot, donated his laptop to local PTI chapter on Friday.
Interesting Asad has got this laptop from Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif , whose party Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz is considered to be main rival of Imran Khan, at his college.
Some critics of PML-N say that distribution of about 1,25,000 laptops among students of educational instites of Punjab is a tactical move by Shahbaz Sharif to counter growing popularity of Khan among youths.A special program was arranged by PTI local chapter in honor of Asad Ali on donating his laptop to the party. I have received this laptop just because of Imran Khan, Asad said during the event referring to apparent strategy by PML-N to counter PTI growth among youth.That is why I am donating this to district office of PTI, he added.

Dont compare what happens outside Pakistan with Pakistan especially US because they dont have crap government schools with no teachers, no chairs/tables, no roofs, no water, no electricity. In Pakistan, a scheme like this can only be made by an idiot who is only looking for self-advertisement and doesnt know anything about real priorities in education.

That would be a huge overstatement, maybe you should get out of Lahore and check the situation in other parts of Punjab especially rural areas.

This may bring consequences for this student. My brother in UET (who also received a laptop) told me that several top students in UET were planning to put on IK and PTI T-shirts and go on stage to receive their laptops from Shahbaz. Even if they were allowed on stage, it could have been a Kodak moment but it would have brought serious consequences for them knowing noon league's reputation for victimization. So they were persuaded not to do it.

One can call these actions emotional but it gives an idea of sentiments prevailing in the students.

schools in rural areas are not that bad .. and yes I have been out there lately ..
I am setting a control shed and bought a land in rural area .. trust me when I say this .. I travelled a lot looking for appropriate place ranging from Muzaffar garh, Basti Malook, Lodhran, Mattital, NawabPur, Bund Bosan, khanwal, rawan .. all near multan ..
infact I was bit amazed that some of the schools especially near Lodhran have too magnificent building and setup ..
