I have already answered you,please read again and provide evidence when and where he opposed.
He just opposed some persons around Qaid Azam(RH) and the time proved truth,once Qaid said I have coins in my pocket with no value.

Both are hypocrites, JI has been a part and parcel of Army dictatorship and has went out of its way to defend Army whenever it committed illegal coups against elected governments. In-fact it was instrumental in overthrowing BB's govt in 90's at the nod of establishment. So when JI complains of Army interfering into politics its a freaking hilarious.

Like I said earlier, army unlike the political parties of Pakistan does not let any slight to its prestige (? lol) go unpunished. JI should be extremely careful now because if you look at the recent 'strategy' it seems army is all set to promote TuQ as its political prostitute and for supporting him an alternate force is being created which primarily consists of Brailvi and Ahle Tashee Ulema plus dime a dozen Mushaikh (meaning the national narrative so to speak will no longer be Deobandi but Brailvi). Little do these Ulema realize that they will be used and abused in the same manner the last prostitutes were used (that much is certain because army is not touching its Indian 'assets') but by now I agree to the notion itself, TTP will do no good but drag Pakistan another fifty years back and looking at India we must shape up right now.

The only problem I see is that TuQ will be used to bring down another elected Govt and that is unacceptable for me (I have no problem if TuQ is promoted to the degree that he wins in general elections which will atleast keep the system intact). Still if we understand the dynamics of power struggle, Army would not allow democracy to mature as it will sooner or later challenge its absolute hold on Pakistan. Thus a coup will be much more likely.

Agree that both sides are to be blamed in different theaters. If we just use the sheer scale as a metric to judge then the Talibans take the cake.
The duplicitous role of the armed forces has made things very complicated. Military establishment is good if it fights the extrernal threat deliberately, effectively and judiciously. They are good if they fight against any internal threats to the state like the talibans. But the same military is bad if it create proxy groups to fight unnecessary wars under the guise of strategic depth or if it commits excesses when it fights the insurgency in Baluchistan or if it dabbles and interferes in Pakistan's political landscape.

The problem with most of us is that things can only be black and white. People just dont want to see any shades of gray even if it stares right at them..

I believe you give too much weight to Qadri. He is just a pawn and will always be used as a counter weight but never as the main player.

simple question to any1 who may wish to answer!!

The victim of a blast in Swat 'round 2 years ago were Pakistani soldiers along with US Army Seals - if Pakistanis were martyred than what about American soldiers? would you call them martyr as well since they died for the same cause, if not, Why?

p.s. The loss is not of weapons as was the case in Afghan War but humans i.e. american seals
