India is the most iniquitous society on the earth and suffers from intolerable religious, dogmatic prejudices and hatred imaginable. India is riddled with various North/ South/East/West divisions and separatist movements but they are not called Hindu Terrorists. The trouble with the Hindu Saffron clad fundamentalists and fanatics is that even if a cow on an Indian road is killed in an accident, they immediately blame the Muslims and their warmongering politicians want to start a war with Pakistan. Yet, these evil Indian politicians of hate prosper in their murderous political intentions. Bal Thackeray is one of those political thugs who believe that if you are not a Hindu in India, you are not an Indian. Now the idiot grandson of Indra Gandhi is inflaming communal hate against Indian Muslims by making obnoxious, uncivilized and shameful statements to get racists, fascist and Hindu fanatics vote in the coming elections. For these devious and wretched Indian fundamentalist politicians and religious leaders, Muslims should be used and kicked around for political gains. The Bharatiya Janata Party which controlled Gujarat as well as the national government at the time, and other known sahibs of politics, were implicated in turning a blind eye to mass murder of innocent Muslim men, women and children. The police force under the BJP was heavily implicated in the violence, which to a large extent was pre-planned.

Indian caste system is embedded in the Hindu religion and the most essential part of its theology. The untouchable Hindus are shunned by majority and not allowed to eat with non-untouchables, sit on the same table, sit together on a sofa next and attend the same church or religious ceremonies with a higher caste Hindu? The fact of the matter is that that the Hindu caste system is not a division of labour as claimed to distinguish the untouchables but it is in fact the stigma and label of birth as preached by the Hindu religion. An untouchable was born an untouchable since the inception of Hindu ethos over thousands of years ago and remains so even today. He she is not treated as an equal in the Hindu society because for thousands of years, they have been carrying the certificate (classification of birth) "untouchable". India cannot claim to be a secular state and a democracy when over 50% of its masses are treated as untouchables and shunned by the few higher-caste Hindus as outcasts and the lowest of Indian society. The caste system still prevails in India, though on January 26, 1950, the constitution of India abolished it, which left many innocent Shudras ruthlessly abused and massacred by upper-caste people like Brahmins.

Shudra according to Vedas is classified as the lowest of the four castes. The ideal society prescribed by the Vedas is known by the name Chaturvarna and must satisfy three conditions and must be composed of four classes, Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras.. The interrelations of these classes must be regulated by the principle of graded inequality. In other words, all these classes are not to be on equal level but to be one above the other, in point of status, rights and privileges. The Brahmins were placed at the top; the Kshatriyas were placed below the Brahmins but above the Vaishyas; the Vaishyas were placed below the Kshatriyas but above the Shudras and the Shudras were placed the lowest of all. Brahmin was born from Hindu god Vishnus head; Kshatriya from his chest; Vaishyas from his thigh and Shudras from his foot and introduced the caste system, which is considered to be the most iniquitous. The Shudra were born to do menial jobs for all the three superior classes. A Shudra enjoyed no rights or privileges. He was not permitted to perform any religious, sacrifices , read or learn the Vedas or recite the mantras. A Shudra could marry only another Shudra. He was not allowed to enter temples and could only serve the upper three castes as a slave, barber, blacksmith or cobbler. A Shudra was forbidden to walk side by with a Brahim or hear him recite religious sermons and if found of the guilt of the crime, the Shudra was punished by pouring molten iron in his ears. Indian culture is still riddled with the most socially iniquitous, prejudiced, discriminating society that defiles human conscious, logic and wisdom.

India is neither a democracy or a secular state but a fundamentalist Hindu state and the fake gloss of democracy is to fool the world. Even, they give their WMDS, nuclear sites, nuclear bombs, nuclear missiles and rockets Hindu gods and goddesses names to demonstrate their Hindu fanaticism and fundamentalism.

Rembember when u point one finger at others remaining 4 fingers are pointing at you. Hindus treat minorities much better than Muslim (look at numbers of hindus in Pakistan and bangladesh. It looks like u have never been 2 India. I studied there for 5 years. India has lots of problems but atleast they acknowledge it and have been improving things for last 50 to 100 years. We Muslim think we are superior than others and don't realize whole world is laughing at us. This whole article shows your frustration and complexes. In this difficult time we need to think about pakistan and forget about Hindus/ India.

Kashmir was never a part of India, the people of Kashmir have been voting against the so-called maharaja since 1922. In the year 1946 the National Conference made a declaration called "Quit Kashmir" against the maharaja and drawing attention of the British raj to Kashmir's claim to freedom on after the British left India. Even after the independence of India, Kashmir did not join India and opted for an independent state. But as the situation grew intense, the majority of the population of Kashmir was at loggerheads with the maharaja because of his atrocities towards the Muslims. The people of Kashmir unanimously opined against the accession of Kashmir to Indian union but the cunning maharaja and the clever Indian government decided to go against the wishes of the majority and Jawaharlal Nehru accepted the accession on the pretext that once the situation returned to normal, the people of Kashmir would be given freedom to decide their own destiny - which to date the Indian government has never allowed. Ever since, the Kashmiris are fighting for their freedom. They were never allowed to choose their own destiny that manipulating Jawaharlal Nehru betrayed them.
Ever since over 360,000 Kashmiri Muslims have been killed, maimed, or disappeared without a trace and tales of horrendous torture and rape of young girls and women are heard in almost every Muslim household. An Indian writer, Pankaj Mishra, was told by officials at one Srinagar hospital a couple of years ago that they witnessed hundreds of cases of death by acute renal failure, caused by putting human bodies in army interrogation centres called Papa 1 and Papa 2 and putting living Kashmiris under the steam rollers and squashing like a pulp. This is happening even now. India and Pakistan have already fought three inconclusive wars over Kashmir, and a fourth was narrowly averted recently. There can be properly negotiated solutions to the question of Kashmir only if the Muslims are free to choose their future. In the long term, only a plebiscite among Kashmiris on both sides of the border, as ordered by a United Nations Security Council resolution of 1948, can hope to resolve the issue.
The genocide of over 2,500 Muslims spanning three months in the western state of Gujarat by the right-wing Hindu nationalists groups, a barbarity resembling that in Rwanda and of the Nazis against the Jews. Pregnant women were ripped open and burnt, women and girls gang-raped before being hacked to death with swords, and little children butchered. Ethnic cleansing and communal violence is sparked by the so-called "saffron mob" to intimidate minorities. Indians claim to be secular and proud of it, which is unbelievable and preposterous under these circumstances. When ethic cleansing was carried out by Hindu mob, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendar Modi put on blindfolds when all this was happening. The Hindu fundamentalist mob was looking to assert their anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan agenda to boost their party.

Across the state 180 mosques were damaged or destroyed along with thousands of Muslims owned businesses and homes. The attackers with swords, machetes, and iron bars carried computer print-outs listing the addresses of Muslims families homes and businesses and singled out, attacked, ransacked, and burnt with men, women and children locked from outside. They had supply of hundreds of gas cylinders made available to them by the local government, which they used for explosives. All the time the police turned blind eye when pregnant women were ripped open before being hacked to death with swords and knives and then burnt. Hundreds of children were set on fire, girls were gang raped and then cut open. It was the most dreadful and stomach-churning atrocity carried out by Hindu sub-human mob with evil and hate in their minds. The state government of Gujarat helped them and majority of them are walking free in their cities looking for another opportunity to dye their ugly hands with Muslim blood. It was genocide of unimaginable proportion that lasted over three months and resembled the holocaust of Rwanda and Nazi Germany. Much of the funding of Vishwa Hindu Parishad or World Hindu Council that has close links to BJP was to blame for co-coordinating much of the slaughter comes from expatriate Gujarati communities in the UK and America.

After 61 years of independence, India has achieved kuch nahi - nothing - for the 650 million Indian rural poor who live in abject poverty and cannot afford one meal a day, and are trapped in a miserable world without any prospects. They were poor 61 years ago and are even poorer now after 61 years despite India's rapid and steady economic growth of 8% for the last 10 years. Last year, the Asian Development Bank released a report confirming that despite the boom, the gap between the Indian rich and poor has widened beyond belief. One of the reasons for this gap is bad planning, failure to invest in health, education and social welfare, which has left hundreds of millions of poor Indians without any hope and dangerously low on survival prospects in their iniquitous society riddled with the Hindu caste system. The majority of these rural poor living in grinding poverty earn as little as 40 pence 80 US cents a day doing every menial job available when they migrate to towns and cities looking for work, and have to live in the worst slumps seen in the world. This poverty trap will never be broken in India as long as its poor are treated as untouchables and sub-humans.

Economists blame this demographic division because 49% of the Indian children under the age of six are malnourished, as evident from their skinny limbs, pale faces, empty stares and the plight of the miserable environment in which they live and grow. As the Indian rich grow fatter and fatter at the expense of the poor, it is alarming many pundits that this inequality and disparity could easily backfire and jeopardize the Indian claim to be the largest democracy. Increasingly the rural poor are getting agitated, and in October 2007, 200,000 villagers from 25 villages across India marched to the capital to protest and demonstrate against their neglect by their corrupt government of the rich for the rich and democracy of the rich, for the rich and by the rich. Everyone seems to be singing Bollywood songs these days but it is imperative to mention that Mumbai has become one of the biggest sin capitals of the world where sun sets in midday and nights are for lewd debauchery and sex in every available corner. One has to just look across from a top floor of a multi--story apartment flat of a filthy rich to see the shanty towns, slumps and abject poverty in which millions of poor live worse than rats living in gutters.

On the other side, the India's urbanized middle class instead of sitting in the lotus position by the banks of Ganges as their forefathers used to do; they are lying on the couches of their psychiatrists seeking solutions to their newly acquired, adopted and photocopied Western problems. They now prefer to take cocaine, amphetamines and drink until they fall flat on the streets rather than do old yoga to improve their inner self. More and more are consulting American-style psychiatrists to combat the pressure of modern life sitting in their resource centres and answering phone calls sorting out queries of their customers from abroad and, funny enough, copying the American accent. A recent survey of the psychiatrists in New Delhi showed a 40% increase in clients in the last two years. Young Indians who are fortunate enough to find a job, which is almost a miracle, work long hours like robots to meet their huge ambitions. There are many corner-shop psychiatrists as well as legal and illegal abortion clinics doing a flourishing trade in big cities of India. In particular, there is increasing demand of the clinics to terminate illegitimate pregnancies running rampant in the young girls going to schools and colleges. These urbanized Indians photocopying the Western immoral way of life are abandoning their Hindu gods and are seeking guidance taking heavy drugs and indulgence in debauchery and unsolicited sex. Many of the resource centres where boys and girls, men and women work 24 hours a day in shifts are like whore-houses where open air sex is taking place in modern cubicles on the floor a[or desks. It is said that some of the offices drainage system often gets blocked by the thrown away condoms.

India is fast becoming a shameless and gutless society following in the footsteps of Western insidious materialism and capricious capitalism. India's democratic system has miserably failed and let down its poor whereas it has immensely benefited the privileged few and rich. The wealthy and emerging middle classes are so oblivious of the miserable existence of the poor and do not even wish to look into the abject poverty in which they live. Indian Democracy is a deception and a delusion which has allowed lewdness, immorality and dishonesty to flourish for the benefit of the capitalists and dishonest politicians.

I believe that living in India must have destroyed billions of your brain cells or created an aberration in your cerebrum genetic make up. I am surprised you have as yet not changed or added Ram, Krishna etc to your last name. I was born in India and know in-depth anomalies of the Hinduism and its in-built prejudices and ill-treatment of the Indian minorities. And, please do not be so proud of secularism and democracy because it has produced nothing but lewdness, immorality, nudity, pornography, illegitimate pregnancies in young girls of 10-12, rampant incest, alcoholism, binge drinking, sex in every corner and in the open air, gambling, drug taking, rampant crime, murders and degradation of the Western and Indian societies. And, you are not the only educated man in the world and do not be so conceited and misled by it. Have you seen Hindu temples where their deities, gods and goddesses in wood and stones are copulating and advertising Kama-Sutra 69 ways? I believe that being a proud secularist, you would approve of this vulgarity in a house of worship where they take children along to pray.
