And this decision would uplift us otherwise a civil war was around the corner. Corona is one thing but we have to also economically empower the 35 percent people living under poverty line. Die of corona vs Die of hunger. The choice was clear.

That's socialism. With 100 acre/family one may not be able to achieve economy of scale. Having a bigger land, you may be more incentivised to deploy modern ways
