unwise decision by a brave man.

OP and others are whining about Zamurd Khan not following standard operating procedures as if everything else in Pak happens in-line with those.

In a country, where no one does their job at all, one man took a great decision to bravely putting his life on the line and taking the matter in his own hands to save the kids and end the drama - IS VERY NOBLE.

Of course it doesn't help that ZK slipped in a very embarrassing way and that Sikandar didn't shoot him or others around right at that moment...

But still, it was a very, very noble action on the part of ZK. I wish I can be that brave if ever a time or chance like that comes upon me.

At least ZK actually did what all of us were thinking - that why doesn't SSP Rizwan just grab him when he is so close to him or why doesn't the elite force people shoot him when he's 50+ meters away from his kids and wife. ZK actually tried to grab him in exactly the way most of us were thinking that it should've been done hours earlier.

Also, I would have had the same feelings about this action if it was done by any other JUIF, JI, PMLN, PTI or MQM guy. It was a noble act and we must appreciate it.

Overall, excellent entertainment. I give it 9 / 10 on imdb.com scale. If this were Hollywood, there would've been a script and cast finalized for a movie to be made out of it. It was that good.

Brave: Agreed. But wise: not at all. It was lucky that he didn't open fire at people. If he had he would have killed a person or two prompting the authorities to kill him as well, which would be failure for the whole process of hours of negotiation which was done to save even this persons life or else the authorities could have killed him with a snipper. The whole idea was that no one should get hurt.. But this move of Zamrud khan could have ended in a situation like i have mentioned. But it was only lucky enough that nothing like that happened.

He is Khan remember? so ethnics come first than party affiliation i guess in many cases. we could have gone all the way and could have said oh Khan is brave. Khan did wise. Khan did this. Khan did that. But that's not the case. It was brave but not wise.:)

Sure Bravery is not always Wise too-as you can judge from Dera Jail break incidence if KPK Govt could have been brave enough to tackle it-then what have happend that 150 attackers Talibans and 250 fleeying dehshatgard would have been killed bechaaray which is not a wise act to kill almost 400 dehshatgards!!!!!!!!(omg) while through wise strategy only 5 police walas and 5 shia prisnors have been slaughterd ONLY
