This is not one story, there are many like this and obviously due to the same behaviour we in such a mess today. The nations where art, culture and literature die, can only produce then Mullahs, Talibs and TLP kind of creatures.

So true. Same is what happened to Dr Abdul Salam, the only scientist we ever produced who made a significant impact.

But that should not comes as a surprise as this is the nation which turns the lowest of the low Dallas into the royal shareef family.

The bigotry is even on a bigger scale than that of Hindus in India and the only difference is that they somehow unite the people on cultural basis whereas our country has been ruined by establishment for accomplishing other countries agendas.

There's a famous scene from Khuda Kay Liye which says one needs to remove this "OR" while saying Islam or Jeans, Islam or music and so on.
One may criticize USA and NATO due to their foreign policies and imperialistic nature; however socially their societies have evolved.
Not to forget final days of Josh Maleehabadi and Mehdi Hassan. Even for Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan there were stories about snakes coming out of his grave and people finding his tongue wrapped around his body after digging it out

Regarding India and Indians, they used to troll us saying we don't have a soft power like Bollywood ; but within last few years especially after death of Sushant Singh Rajput they have begun discovering Islamist , Christian missionary and Communist agenda in these movies. Now terms like Urduwood and Karachiwood are also being used. They say D-Company and ISI were funding these movies....so this all means that ISI and Pakistani establishment were actually the ones behind India's soft power for all these years?? ?‍???
