Based on your statement if you are political party you have right to pick arms & kill....like MQM
How naive is that terrorists are terrorists no matter which party and if party is choosing violence as a means a later is willing to start dialogue & peace process they should have the right to do so.....
Your logic is just like logic used by Israel that we won't negotiate with Palestinians till they stop all means of violence......you have to see that why violence is there is it because Pakistani were involved in 9/11 attacks or is it that we started something to please US & to earn dollars which is now out of control...

Give chance to TTP, maybe they will also become the political force of Pakistan system :) Maybe its just the matter of time....If in Afghanistan all the big players want Talibans to be the part of peace process and want them to be in the main stream politics then why not in Pakistan

KP minister offers to open Taliban office in Peshawar
PESHAWAR/ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai on Sunday offered to open a Taliban office in Peshawar to move forward the peace process and said the provincial government was ready to provide every assistance in this regard.
Talking to media persons here, Shaukat Yousafzai said the KP government was ready to play its role for the establishment of peace in the country.
He said the PTI also made the same offer recently, but faced severe criticism from many political circles. However, he said the KP government was still prepared to facilitate the establishment of a Taliban office in Peshawar.
He said the government and Taliban should exhibit responsible behaviour for making the talks successful.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan contacted the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and exchanged views on negotiations with the Taliban.
During the telephonic contact, Chaudhry Nisar made an offer to include Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak in the government negotiations team. Imran Khan sought time for consultations with the party over the offer.
The PTI chief expressed strong reservations over the statement of the defence minister regarding a military operation. However, Chaudhry Nisar told him that no decision regarding an operation has been made yet. He said the government wants to move forward the negotiations process with honesty. He said the government will take every decision on the matter in consultation with the opposition. In the wake of contact between the two leaders, a meeting between Imran Khan and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was also expected. Chaudhry Nisar contacted the PTI chief on the instructions of the prime minister.
It is learnt that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) wants to take the PTI on board on the issue of the Taliban and peace talks.
In either scenario operation or dialogues the PML-N is willing to take into confidence the Imran Khan-led PTI.

It will not just speed up the peace process, but it will also help to identify different groups who are in favour of dialogue, it will also help first hand information as of now media releases fake information and claims it to be from militants, this way gov can also get information regarding militants who do not participate in peace process and then Pak forces can carry out surgical ops against those people, It will also help gov to win over tribal people to it's side, people will also cooperate if they won't have any militant threats and in result gov will get even get more info for surgical ops. And most of all we will be able to reduce civilian causalities. Political parties who favour operation are just trying to hide their short comings as they have failed to establish institutes and law enforcement agencies who could have tackle this menace of militancy and terrorism. and FYI it is not army's job to carry out ops in it's own land, there should have been anti terrorism force and courts on federal and provincial levels right when terrorism started long ago in Karachi and Baluchistan, but PMLN, PPP, ANP, JUIF and MQM failed miserably in everything, now everybody is trying to pin it on PTI which is trying to make police force tackle such probs efficiently and is going to establish counter terrorism force and provincial intelligence force, the work on these has started right when jail was attacked. I never came across any criticism made by the so called (liberals or anti taliban) people when US approved and opened an office for taliban in Qatar.
But the same so called (liberals or anti taliban) people are not leaving any stone unturned to malign any effot of peace from the Pro Pakistan people.

By his statement PTI has exposed itself more and making it difficult for moderate PTI supporters to defend party,s soft corner for Terrorists. People of Pakistan must realize now that they should not vote for Terrorist sympathizers PTI in next election. Pakistan cant afford sponsors of Wahabi Terrorist Talibaans.

Please don't use the word office it is tremendously iritating for liberals.
However if you say open a hujrah/derrah for them they will not mind because For them hujrah seems less respectable as compared to office.
