ایک معمولی فیور کے لئے قطریوں اور دوسرے عرب وحشیوں کی حوس پوری کرنے کے لئے ان کے آگے اپنے ملک کی بہن بیٹیاں ڈال رہا ہے

Not a wise decision. It is in PTI's own interest to hang the issue of Panama around the neck of Nawaz Sharif during next elections. Therefore, it should try to prolong the issue. If a commission is established, it may take up to a year or more to reach a conclusion. This will take us very close to next elections with PMLN still reeling under the burden of Panama. This would be a win-win for PTI no matter what the commission finds out.

On the other hand if Supreme Court makes a decision right now in favour of Nawaz Sharif and exonerates him, then PMLN will get a boost and PTI will have to find a new issue for the next elections. Even if the court decides something which is damaging to PMLN, still they'll have ample time before next elections to do damage control.

So this decision by Imran Khan seems to be an emotional one rather than a well thought out one.

Close to elections will see many projects completed or near to completion, load shedding a lot less in comparison with when they over and during this time Noon will do everything to taint PTI with leaders like JT and Aleem, even IK himself with funding of Bani Gala as there are serious gaps there.

PTI is doing the right thing trying to put pressure on courts as an outgoing judge is more likely to make a bold decision rather than incumbant who will be reluctant to make any decision whatsoever. Its a risky strategy but then it has potential for some real dividends.

Just because I dont trust Imran Khan anymore doesn't make me patwari. I still believe in change. But this man from time to time has proved that he has no sense of morality and principles which are the least qualities you expect from your leader.

PTI is doing the right thing trying to put pressure on courts as an outgoing judge is more likely to make a bold decision rather than incumbant who will be reluctant to make any decision whatsoever. Its a risky strategy but then it has potential for some real dividends.

PMLN will certainly showcase CPEC and end of load shedding as its achievements in order to get re-elected to power in 2018. But if the issue of Panama is still outstanding, it will be a major drag on its chances as notwithstanding whether the Sharif family has done anything illegal or not, the mantra of Panama has been repeated so many times on the media that in the perception of general public this has become synonymous with serious financial corruption. Only a quick and absolute exoneration by court can dilute this perception. But even if the court casts doubts on the financial dealings of Sharif children, if the decision comes in next few weeks then PMLN will have ample time before next elections to employ its damage control strategy.

On the other hand if this matter drags on close to the 2018 elections, PMLN will spend more time defending Sharif family in the election campaign rather than touting its economic achievements. Any aspersions it casts on Imran Khan or Jahangir Tareen etc., will be seen as tactics to divert attention from Panama.

Therefore, it makes absolute sense for PTI to try to prolong the process and keep the issue of Panama alive till next elections.
