you know, everyone need real education in Pakistan and learn how to behave. Especially these journalists ... They think they are out of this world and supreme human beings, i hate when they become so arrogant and stubborn. I hated it when there were so many suicidal attacks in 2007, and despite of many many pleas of the Government, they kept on showing the pieces of dead bodies, blood, skulls live on TV ... I have no idea what kind of freedom is that ?

This shows the true colors of military generals and their goons even decades after retirement. This is the mindset which prevails that they can get away with anything - lets see if it was someone else whether the DAWN news team would not have filed charges against them for trying to rough them up.
Imagine if this is the reaction after over 20 years of retirement what would have been the response if he was in service - in fact more interesting is what the goons of these generals would have done to show that they are more loyal than the king

I agree with you, but lets just expose this yellow journalism too, this guy took permission to talk about Baloachistan ... and then he moved towards the issue of his pending case in Supreme Court ... How about shutting the media and make them learn some lesson. Educate them and make them work in ethical manner. They act like they are the supreme power and not answerable to anyone.
That was my concerns were when supreme court ruled out President's reference against CJ ... in the time of Musharraf ... and also ruled that President can not file a reference against CJ ...
I mean how you are gonna dislodge a CJ, in case he is corrupt in real ???

I am surprised that people are criticizing the media person doing his job.....this is what media does all over the world going around asking tough questions.
These same people who are criticizing our media if a journalist would have pestered a tony blair or bush then they would be so giddy and praising the journalists. the reporter was persistence and since when asking tough questions has become insulting?

as far the loyalty is concerned ...
Let me disclose and expose the politicians and the generals (you decide who is pro-Pakistan and Pro-Islamic)
in Gulf War, Americans wanted Pakistan to send their troops so that world donot think its Muslims Massacre (involve armies of Muslim countries in coalition forces)
Mirza Aslam Baig, the then General of the Armed forces, refused straight away to send any troops, while Nawaz Sharif, the then Prime Minister, forced the decision to send troops. that also reminds me that this prick sharif was then on a peace mission, visiting all Islamic & other countries involved in this, flying around countries and gave this statement "If Saddam would have attacked Israel rather than Kuwait, i would have joined him"
and then recently in the past, Nawaz Sharif goes to American Ambassador, licking americans feet by claiming ... "OH please i am pro-american ... remember when army refused to send troops to Gulf War ... i was the one who forced army to send troops, i am pro american ... i can serve you better, please believe me" (wikileaks)

Where does it show on the thing that they asked permission to talk just about baluchistan? or should we take the word of the general over the journalist? whats wrong with answering questions? i guess if you really investigate that this is journalistic norm all over the world. At least this uneducated and ruthless media must learn its limits.
The General initially explained to him politely and his limits that he cannot speak against the Supreme Court.
But this journalist continued forcing and bashing the general.
This is 'Ghunda-gardi' to force somebody to give statement in a case which is pending in a court rather than an independent media like police violence and is a flagrant violation of the fundamental rights of a citizen.
This poverty-stricken nation can go any limits.
In Pakistan, each of us have to learn our respective limits.
Polite nations do not cross their limits in every sphere of life.
May God take pity on us.
