Ler me tell the truth here as to why MQM and all terrorists arrested, none of them have been convicted so far.

Witnesses are intimidated, harnessed, threatened, manipulated and told to stay away other wise their families will be killed. So what can those poor witnesses do.

Our Judiciary should in this case convict them using the clause which stipulates that their is enough circumstantial evidence to convict you and there for no need for witnesses as they are not willing to come forward due to threats they receive and their concern for their family lives.

Judiciary is failing us, in this case and in the case of stolen money sitting in Swiss banks. Also in the case od fake Degrees and also in the cases of Kabza groups and also in the cases of borrowed money from the banks.

Haters have a habit of blaming MQM for every crime in Karachi, But Allah always put Kalak on their dirty faces.

For instance when Suicide Bomber attacked 12 Rabi ul Awal procession in Nishter park Karachi, Jamat e Islami quickly points towards MQM,
but later the Jamat e Ahl e Sunnat Ameer cleared that it was a suicide attack and the attacker belonged from Mansehra.

oh kisi pari likhi katil party k bhatta khoor, maan liya k mulk main terrorists attack kar rahay hain magar ye terrorists target killing karnay ki himmat nahi rakhtay. Target killing wohi loog kartay hain jo police ko control kartay hain. We don't want to believe on the media which is scared of your killers. Nation is giving you un announced warning so back off immediately otherwise this time the operation will be extended to London.

DAWN.COM | Pakistan | Top MQM leaders among NRO beneficiaries

ISLAMABAD: Top leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, including its chief Altaf Hussain, Parliamentary Leader in the National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar, Federal Minister Babar Ghauri, Sindh Minister Shoaib Bokhari and a number of former lawmakers, are among the beneficiaries of the National Reconciliation Ordinance, according to the list sent by the National Accountability Bureau to the government on Thursday.

According to the list, eight cases were registered against Altaf Hussain in Mirpurkhas, Zaman Town, Kalakot, Brigade, Quaidabad and Nazimabad police stations between 1986 and 1995.

One case was registered against Dr Farooq Sattar in 1992 in Korangi police station, while four in Quaidabad, Aziz Bhatti, Landhi and Korangi police stations in 1994.

Six cases were registered against Shoaib Bokhari in Nazimabad, Orangi Town, Korangi, Mominabad and Zaman Town police stations.

Five cases were registered against MNA Waseem Akhtar in Korangi, Quaidabad, Zaman Town and Aziz Bhatti police stations.

The list included the names of Karachi’s deputy Nazim, Nasrin Jalil, former adviser to the Sindh chief minister S. Manzoor Hussain, former senator Ishtiaq Azhar, former convener of the MQM Rabita Committee Dr Imran Farooq and two members of the committee Saleem Shahzad and Tariq Javed.

A former provincial minister, Qazi Khalid, who was appointed judge of the Sindh High Court on the recommendation of former chief justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, is also among the beneficiaries of NRO, according to the bureau.

Former members of the Sindh Assembly Azhar Mian, Irshad Baig, Jawed Akhtar, Dr Sagheer Ahmed, M. Haroon Siddiqui, S. M. Mohiuddin, Abdul Qadir Lakhani, Mirza Afzal Baig, Suhail Saleem Mashahdi and Kamran Jaffery also benefited from the NRO, the list said.
Ajmal Dehlvi is also on the list of beneficiaries. The names of certain people, including Ishtiaq Azhar and Khalid Murtaza, appeared on the list more than once.

Khalid Murtaza was a leading trade unionist of the Pakistan Steel Mills. He was paralysed in alleged firing by Rangers in early 90s and is currently working in MQM’s Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation.

The names of former MNA Shaikh Liaquat Hussain, who passed away recently, former MPA Afzal Anwar, who expired some 4-5 years ago, and former MNA and member of the Rabita Committee Hassan Musanna Alvi, who died last year, are also on the list.

Other NRO beneficiaries belonging to the MQM are former president of the Karachi Bar Association, Amin Lakhani, and Liaquatabad town nazim Usama Qadri, the NAB said.

Rabita Committee member Kanwar Khalid Younus told Dawn that almost all cases against leaders and workers of the MQM were criminal in nature. He said it was easy to book one in a criminal case and FIRs were registered in one go.

He said there were no cases of financial irregularity against the MQM leadership as one had to substantiate the charges with evidence.

He said 94 criminal cases were registered against him and he contested all of them and got himself cleared.

He said his party would fight any cases brought against its leaders by the government.

Dear I totally agree with you as I am myself in the knowledge of MQM links with South African Mafia as well as with the Indian and even srilankan under world . . . . It is the characteristics of the under world that they give their Don a status equal to God and that is the case even with MQM . . . . Even MQM slogans of calling Altaf as Huq ki Kitaab and Waqt ka Imam are all the product of this philosophy . . . . There is not much difference between these Grave Preachers and the core die hard MQM members as they preach their peer sahib the same way . . . . . I dont know weather you believe in Dajjal's Fitna or not but this Altaf is definitly a Fitna as he have put curtains over the senses of even the educated people of Karachi . . . . through his weapon of ethnicity . . . . .

“MQM works hard to remember its roots and love for motherland” these were the words which honorable Bob Delaney, Member of Provincial Parliament, Ontario, Canada delivered in his address to a well crowded Pakistan Day gathering attended by South Asian communities in Toronto Canada. He further appreciated MQM leader Altaf Hussain on his firm, fair and fruitful leadership which produced numerous success models in Pakistan such as Syed Mustafa Kamal, a former mayor of Karachi who was elected amongst three best mayors of the world. After the speech, he mingled in the audience and exchanged views on how Pakistanis and other South Asians are benefiting Canada in its economic growth and what else can they do in its further increase.

The tremendous Pakistan Day Celebrations program was organized by MQM Canada Toronto and Montreal chapters on April 22nd and 23rd, 2011 simultaneously. A large number of Canadian political figures, local dignitaries and delegations of social and welfare organizations exclusively attended the festivity. At the end his address, honourable Bob Delaney presented a certificate of appreciation to MQM Canada in recognition to its contribution and services in integration of South Asian communities in Canadian custom.

CANADA COURT DECLARES MQM A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

CANADA COURT DECLARES MQM A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

Judge Orders Deportation of Pakistani Party Chief
By Stewart Bell
Canada, 18 July 2007 (National Post): The head of the Quebec branch of a Pakistani political party is facing deportation after the Federal Court of Canada ruled he belonged to an organization [Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) led by London, UK-based Criminal Terrorist Altaf Hussain] that committed terrorism.
The judge upheld the deportation of Mohammed Kashif Omer, a resident of Montreal, on the grounds he is a member of the Muttahida Quami Movement or MQM. [The MQM terrorist party is based in Karachi, Pakistan. MQM is a crime partner of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q), another terrorist party based in Pakistan. Criminal Terrorist Shaukat Aziz is the head of PML-Q. Criminal Terrorist Tyrant Pervez Musharraf, a mass murderer of thousands of innocent citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan, is the President of both the MQM Mafia and the PML-Q Mafia].
It is the second time this year Canadian courts have ruled the MQM party meets the legal definition of a terrorist organization.
Mr. Omer is one of dozens of Pakistanis whom Canadian immigration authorities are trying to deport because of their involvement in the MQM.
Despite being blamed for the kidnapping, torture and murder of its political rivals in Pakistan, the MQM has opened a Canadian branch called MQM-Canada.
Members of the group have worked on Conservative election campaigns, met [Canadian] Prime Minister Stephen Harper and recently hosted a [MQM] conference in Calgary [Canada].
Conservative MP Art Hanger spoke at the June 8-10 MQM-Canada convention, which was attended by several Pakistanis who are being deported for their alleged involvement in terrorism. Mr. Hanger said he did not support the [MQM] group. Conservative MLA Shiraz Shariff also attended. He said yesterday he was unaware Canadian courts had deemed the MQM a terrorist organization. "Why are we as a nation then allowing them to have a congregation here?" he said.
Among the speakers at the convention was Mr. Omer, who presented a report on the "achievements and future strategy" of the Montreal office of MQM, according to the [MQM] group's Web Site.
Mr. Omer has no immigration status in Canada. A Canada Border Services Agency spokesman, Erik Paradis, said the court ruling means that the deportation order against Mr. Omer is now in effect.
The MQM is a Pakistani political party that is part of [unconstitutional, illegal, self-appointed] President Pervez Musharraf's ruling coalition. The Canadian MQM branch has never been accused of illegal activities but in Pakistan the party has been blamed for widespread violence, most recently in May [2007] when gunfights between the MQM and anti-government demonstrators left more than 40 dead.
MQM officials deny any role in attacks and say they are victims of misinformation spread by Pakistani authorities. Canada's Security Intelligence Review Committee has been looking into complaints from MQM members that immigration authorities have unfairly branded them as terrorists.
Mr. Omer came to Canada in 1998 and was granted refugee status but in 2005 immigration officials said he could not remain in Canada "because he knowingly and for a long period of time belonged to an organization that has engaged in terrorism."
In Pakistan, Mr. Omer had been a member of the MQM and its student wing from 1987 to 1998. He denied any involvement with the MQM in Canada but eventually acknowledged he was in charge of the MQM's Quebec office.
The Immigration and Refugee Board said: "Mr. Omer's reasons for trying to hide that, in Canada, he is responsible for the Montreal section of the MQM-Canada lead me to believe that he knew that his party was committing many violent acts."
He appealed the decision to the [Canada] Federal Court, arguing that the MQM is not a terrorist organization and that the violence was committed by rogue elements in the [MQM] party, but the court was not convinced.

"See Karachi, how a young Nazim has excellently worked" - Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry

12654_198125721372_149808321372_3558446_7423099_n.jpg

The News: The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday sought a detailed report till December 21 on cutting of trees due to extension of the Canal View Road Project in Lahore from the provincial environment secretary and the director general.

A three-member SC bench, comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan and Justice Tariq Parvez, was hearing a suo moto case initiated against the cutting of trees.

Nawaz Manik, deputy director of the Punjab Environment Protection Department, Israr Khan, project director of the Lahore Canal Road, and Khadim Hussain Qaiser, Additional Advocate General Punjab, appeared in the court in connection with the notice.

Absolutly love what this guy has done 4 karachi. i dont support any political party, i only support an individuals effort for the betterment of our City, our nation.

Israr Khan presented a report of Nespak about the impact on the environment due to the cutting of trees. However, the civic representatives negated the report and contended that the report was about a previous project and had nothing to do with the current project.

Israr Khan told the court that the Canal View project would affect 1,844 trees, however, 4,304 new trees would be planted. He said fruit trees would be saved. Giving details of the project, he said it was a 14 km project that starts from Thokar Niaz Baig and ends at Dharampura underpass.

Imrana Tiwana, an architect and environmentalist, told the court that the project would cause a severe damage and irreparable loss to the hundreds of years old archaeological heritage of the city.

She said this heritage is considered to be one of the rich heritages of world. She said the project of expanding the road has been designed to benefit a selected few not more than eight per cent and majority of the remaining citizens is being neglected. She said there are 700 buses in Lahore and the city has been declared the most polluted city of the country but government is not paying any heed towards it. She said in the US and Seoul, traffic issues are solved without disturbing ecosystem.

The chief justice then observed that the government in London did not go for expansion of its roads merely to preserve its heritage.

“How such a project of huge cost is in favour of the country in the current economic situation,” the chief justice said. “See Karachi, how a young Nazim has excellently worked,” the chief justice said, adding the ‘authorities’ of Lahore should go to Karachi to see his excellent work. Lamenting the strategy of cutting trees for expansion of roads, Imrana Tiwana said instead of making transport system efficient, trees are being sacrificed to expand the roads. The court adjourned the hearing for December 21.

Blunder of the Blunders.

Where does your stuff say that Karachi Police is not controlled by MQM. What you want to say is that police officers were not pointed by you. What your stuff says is that all the police is corrupt that is why MQM can control it. If you say that Federal government pointed the corrupt police officers then it was you in the federal government too. How can you make yourself apart from the federal government. Why did you let PPP to point illiterate police employees. Why didn't you fire them from the police department while governor was of your party.
Ye haqumat k mazay loot kar awaam ko pagal samajtay ho. Governor agar corrupt police officers ko fire nahi kar sakta tu agay mera mon mat khulwao....
It is you who need corrupt police officers so that you can control them. But don't worry, this game is not gonna go any further. I believe my army is patriotic which is watching each and every dog of you. And I also believe that this time operation will be bloodiest of all.

The MQM is the fourth largest political party in Pakistan, and the dominant party in Karachi. It was founded in 1984 by Hussain, a former Chicago cab driver, and won broad support among the "mohajirs" - Muslims who fled India after partition in 1947. The party prided itself on its well-oiled machine and its secular, liberal outlook. But British police sources have said it was also linked to extortion, gun smuggling and South African crime networks.
