This must be part of the one of the 10 copies that was distributed to the Muslims of the world. This will be another proof that Quran, as we see today, is unchanged and authentic. Allah keeps his promise, he promised to protect the Quran till the Day of Judgment. And he protected this copy by the hand of non-Muslims to further authenticate the purity of the text.

Hope not some conspiracy. Please check if Jihad and other such teachings are there in this copy and it is not different than what is authentic, accepted, available version, or we may end up with begining of some new sect or westernized version of Islam on the basis of this new discovery, which could be the main reason for this hyped discovery.

Fame and money to name a few?
People will readily accept anything that conforms to their beliefs without bothering with the evidence.
Once there is a verse that is found to be contradictory with today, then the same people will be foaming in the mouth screaming conspiracy.
Thats the reality of people. They do not want to hear the truth they only want to hear that makes them confirm their own personal beliefs.

Dear Vitamin_C, there is much more at stake than fame and money when it comes to credibility of the quran. Also it is much more problematic to discredit something after proving its credibility. That way controversy can only damage its originator. This is why I do not see any sense in anyone trying to discredit the quran this way. For me it will be easier to prove you a liar by discrediting your credibility as you are rather than first proving your credibility as a truthful person and then calling you a liar. In that case I lose my own credibility rather than proving you a liar. In other words my point is, why try to do something the way it cannot be done? For detailed explanation one has to see what I have explained about the quran HERE and HERE. It is not possible to discredit the quran if one studies the issue in detail. People have tried it for centuries and have failed and very badly.

It is because the text of the quran provably remained constantly stable throughout its existence and the message of the quran is also provably free of controversy. I reached this conclusion after a lot of hard work over decades of my life. The only thing most people are unhappy about is what rulers, money lenders, mullahs, their touts and supporters attribute to the quran trying to make its message controversial due to their ignorance. The quran is scientific and philosophical in its approach to issues it discusses. It is a book of special nature which is not known very well for its purpose yet even by most of those who claim to be its custodians. However time is coming when the quran will become focal point of humanity as more and more people become literate, educated, trained, skilled, thoughtful, having insight into things the quran is talking about. So people who wish to know things about the quran should look through my work on the quran and take it further for future generations. It is for individuals to study the quran in detail for themselves to realise what exactly it is. Merely listening to nonsense of ignorant people is not sufficient for people to form any credible opinion about it.

Allah swt has said that He will protect Quran from corruption.


Are all Muslim scholars in agreement that He will protect it in the future from all corruption, until its lifted from the earth???

As Allah says: "We have without doubt, sent down the message and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption.)" (15:9)
