In surat baqara " Wal fitnatu akbaru minal qatal" fitna is greater than killing. Sulman taaseer did fitna in the country. He must did the debate in parliament meetings to change the law instead of on tv. He also took the matters in his hands instead of on proper channels. He must think before talking. He has no right to say Kaala Qaanoon to our country's qanoon made for the sake of izza of our beloved prophet. We should obey and respect the law of our beloved country no matter in which govt it was introduced. If some one has objection one must go through proper channel. Governer was on a seat that he should do the good things that others follow him. If governer is talking on media openly about the faultness of our laws then what u can expect from other common people. What we are giving the image of our country to others. That is not the sign of patriotism. Governer gave the channel to others to talk on our policies and laws whatever they may be. We love our prophet very much and we love the law made for the sake of izza of our holy prophet also. It is better to change the ways of investigations then to change the laws. Investigations should made on fair basis.

if there is any blasphemy law in vogue in pakistan and if salman taseer was blasphemer then he should have been brought before the court...i want to ask that how many pakistanis lodged any complaint or FIR against him...how many times he faced the trial and how many times he escaped the charges because of his party and position....and how many times pakistanis protested against his acquittal from the court....the answer is simple NO....without giving a chance to clarify its simply a Qatl to kill someone out of court....the act of mumtaz qadri is nothing other than the absence of knowledge of "Deen"...it can be termed as simple "jahalat"....no civilized society of the world and above all our religion "Islam" never allows individuals to give judgments and start executing people out of court. to safeguard the spirit of "Islam" this man should be given an exemplary punishment so that this country can be saved from anarchy.

As a sincere friend, my advice to you to not to touch this sensitive matter. This is very very fragile. You never know, with their limited knowledge, what people will write here and as a thread starter you may be asked and testified by Allah Taala.
This is the matter of discussion for Ulema not for the people like me who are very illiterate.

Brother I can understand your concern, but the issue is that Qadri guy killed another human being, Salman Taseer. Now it is up to the judiciary to decide as to what should be his punishment. The question here is did Qadri do the right thing or not by killing Salman Taseer? The answer is very simple, Qadri had no right to take law in his own hands and kill another person.

Let me ask you one question, if the court finds Qadri guilty of murder and sentences him to death, do you and I have the right to go and kill Qadri, just because he is on death row?

Brother, Rasool Allah (S.A.W) gave that order as the head of the state, you should ask yourself, why the companions of Rasool Allah (S.A.W) did not go out and kill those people on their own, why did they need an order from Rasool Allah (S.A.W)?

No matter what.............we have no right to KILL any one even if he/she is found guilty of any crime for which death is the penalty............it is the duty of the state to function as per law & take actions accordingly

My dear , your point is 100% correct but these incidents happen coz there is no justice here in pakistan, you know how law enforcement people do, it is the result that you see now a days people taking law in their own hands, daily you see every person , even on issue of 500 rupees , they kill one another, this attitude is increasing in our society to take revenge on our own, take law in our hands coz no help from law enforcement and justice system.

to my understanding Qadri took law in his hands as he had no trust in justice system and sees no way law will assist him against that powerful man.

to stop such incidents our society needs prompt and correct justice system.
