Criticism on Younis Khan??

Y. Khan is one of the best test batsmen who have played for Pakistan. But he doesn't deserve to be in ODI squad (maybe in Team Zimbabwe or Kenya); he was average ODI batsmen at the start of his career but later he didn't deserve any place. He should have been kicked out of the ODI team long time ago. But this is Pakistan Cricket and such strange selections of teams and captains are normal here. Merit and stability? what's this!!!!

Things start getting wrong in every field and every level when u start thinking that others r babies.
Ok let's talk on merit.

I have nothing against any player or younis khan cuz he is not holding my place in the team or I hv none of my relatives waiting to get in the team. So if he will be replaced some one deserving will get a chance.
brother u got these stats so now look for any pakistani batsman in last 10 years who has these stats, as i said im not comparing him with worlds best but only pak so research again n bring any of pak player....u r forgetting that he has been playing in a team where u dont get batsmen so he had no option but to play through overs n set up the match for hard hitter ... he has always done the dirty job for little praise...thats why i call him unsung hero....

Barca bro test is the ultimate form of the game and as sir garfeild sobers says a player who can play test ,can play in any form of cricket as long as he keeps himself fit enough and with fitness younis is amongst the top......regarding him leaving one days i dont know any upcoming batsman who can replace him ....any?????????

remember he started his carer at 6 and 7..where he always played for the team to get quick runs(not his natural position) and n the process sacrificed his wicket.....n if average is the criteria then fawad alam should be in the team who avereges nearly 38.00......younis played at 3 where he always has to come n the first 5 overs as the opners were rubbish....

I can remember only a couple of his match winning performances in ODIs. By the way, he played most of his matches in positions 3-5 but he still averages very low for a top order batsman. And fawad Alam is equally rubbish.

We should try out someone new like "Harris Sohail" of Sialkot

if a player have an avrge of 32 and strike is lower than 70 how come he can play one day pls he is a good player par apni izat apnay hath may hoti hai isko sirf test khailna chahye

If he started his international career in 2000 how come he played only 76 tests iin 12 years?........Was he dropped for a long period of time?........
as far as the replacement is concerned.....that depends on the bench strength.......somebody should be ready enough to take his place........

yes, you are right, but Mohammad Yousaf is available, we are refusing him even new coach is interested in him, but our selectors are biased against him,, his batting average is better than all pakistanies,(except Zaheer Abbas and Misbah ul haq), including Shoib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Younas Khan, Umer akmal,Rameez raja, Saleem Malik, Inzemam ul haq, Saeed Anwar, even Javeid Miandad,

His batting average is 41.71(javeid Miandad 41.70)

I am surprized, that Imran Khan who was all rounder but bowler especially,Imran Khan batting average is 33.41
His average being a bowler is better than our so called great professional batsmen i.e
