What if they had only suggested their withdrawal but the media reported that they had approved the withdrawal? And so keeping in mind the Media reports the court may have taken action? I mean yar U-Turn lene ki zarurat hi kia hai? They could have said that they had decided to pull back the army but now after the attack they are taking back the decision.

It is not only the Peshawar High Court, staunch PTI supporters like Haroon Rashhed are also criticizing Parvez Khattak for this:

I still stand by the fact that the media may have published a misleading news as it was in case of the PPP and PTI alliance in local body elections in punjab, but later it was known that the alliance is only to file a petition against the holding of elections on non party basis.

Similarly HR is a person who at times doesn't do his own research but writes column based on Media reports, as in the case of the NA-1 election where news reports were showing the Samad Mursaleen(a reluctant member of PTI) had got 17 thousand votes which also played role in the PTI defeat and this thing was written in HR column as well later on but in fact Samad Mursaleen had taken only 17 hundred votes according to ECP official website. So maybe HR again pointed out something by reading the newspaper and the PHC judgment only and didn't do his own research.

I know you are trying to put sense in it but I am sure we all know that even if they suggested it, thats what they meant...so it is a u turn- Now in real term there is nothing wrong with that, we live and learn, problem is where we try to fool others.
