Concept Jihad and its Implications to Pakistan in 2010 & Byond.
Hello friends. Today i would like to discuss about an important and quite sensitive issue , mostly discussed and misrepresented " The concept of Jihad" .
The points i want to discuss are very fundamental : what is it , what was its significance in the past , how it is applicable to today's War in Pakistan and lastly how we can " Change the face of our National future by using the same terms "
The post is divided into three sections .

1: Introduction
What is Jihad :
Original Language of the word itself : Arabic(?????)
Meaning: Struggle
Motive: Fight in the Name of Allah to improve one's self and society and against social injustice and armed struggle for National security and peace .
Importance as a belief : One of five basic conditions of an Islamic belief
6 grades of Jihad: The Jihad is divided into 6 grades each carrying a different objective.
Explanation.
Grade 1: Jihad bil Nafas. ( Fight agaist yourself or the inner struggle )
Grade 2: Jihad bil ilam. ( Struggle by knowledge & research )
Grade 3: Jihad bil lisan. ( struggle by spreading knowledge ie journalists , scholars , presenters etc )
Grade 4: Jihad bil Qalam. ( struggle by being an author )
Grade 5: Jihad bil maal. ( struggle by giving away your part of money as charity and for helping the poor etc)
Grade 6: Jihad Bil saif. ( When all political and peaceful means have failed , an aggression is done against you struggle and start and armed fight by all of your force along with all of the components above to protect one's country(Pakistan) or family )
* Here it must be understood that no one can start an armed Jihad himself. There is an authority which is responsible for declaring Jihad. The Government , where as rest of the forms can be practiced freely by an individual .
2.History of Jihad:
The first forms of military Jihad occurred after the migration (hijra) of Muhammad( PBUH) and his small group of followers to Medina from Mecca and the conversion of several inhabitants of the city to Islam. The first revelation concerning the struggle against the Meccans was surah 22, verses 39-40:
At this time, There were still Muslims who couldn't flee from Mecca and were still oppressed because of their faith. Surah 4, verse 75 is referring to this fact:
Historic declarations of Military Jihad.
Jihad was declared by Muslim authorities on many historic events .
Such as , The " Ghazwaz" , Crusades , in Spain and Portugal,India ,Caucasus, Ottom Caliphate , Afghanistan , Kashmir , Bosnia , Kosovo, Palestine , Lebanon and many more (*Personal Research is advised )
Misuses of the Concept
A pinching fact that has rocked "Muslim ummah" all over the world is a small group of people trying to Transform Islam and the concept of jihad to serve their own Political agenda .
It is not a new happening it has happened before , lets have a Flashback .

Muslims had to demolish the mosque because it was being used against Islam by a group of people lobbying to " Alter the teachings to serve their political purpose "( Not much different to Lal mosque )

Assassins were trained to kill prominent Muslim scholars and leaders by Hassan bin sabah , it rocked Islam for about more than a century .

3.How it effects Pakistan today
Everyone in Pakistan is concerned about the recent Terrorist attacks within Pakistan .
A group of people calling themselves TTP or Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan and Al qaida who " claim" to be Muslims have ignited a war against the Islamic republic of Pakistan.
"Jihad" is the theory they use as an excuse for slaughtering innocents , blowing up schools and hospitals , blowing up Hotels and Installations of National importance .
Assassinating those who do not agree with them such as " Maulana sarfaraz Naeemi Shaheed"Killing of Maulana Sarfraz Naeemi
In my view those people have " NOTHING" to do with Islam , they are playing in the hands of the Top enemies of Pakistan. (everyone knows who they are. i will not mention them just for the sake of thread not going into flames )
Our Army fighting against them have found " Alcohol and Pornographic movies in their hideouts(Porn films seized from Taliban's 'jihadi' hideout : Malik .:. newkerala.com Online News -9750) " Islam does not allow both of them at "any" cost and under any Condition whatsoever hence TTP and Al qaida is not Doing Jihad but they are Misguided people or in other words " Paid killers " who do all of the dirty work their Godfathers.
4: How would we transform our Future by using the same Concept
Jihad's Implications to Pakistan in my view .
I think the concept of Jihad can change Pakistan's future , why do i think so , i will explain it now.
1: Pakistan is an Islamic Country and a Nuclear power
2: People of Pakistan are Muslims willing to do anything for Islam and Pakistan
3: Pakistan has everything to implement Jihad in its "true" form
How?
Lets see..
All of the forms or grades of Jihad that i have mentioned earlier has their very own implications and significance , BUT when merged together it will become a national source of motivation and progress.
* It can help develop a society where an individual grooming of a Pakistani would be possible , as we know one individual can bring a lot of change , so lets focus on creating such an environment where a person can do self recognition and become a better person from within ( Jihad bil Nafas )
* It helps developing such an Educational system which can directly effect National growth , Lets produce more Phd's / Capita than any other Nation , lets invest in Universities and research centers and bring our Educational system to the international level .(Jihad bil ilm)
* Lets give our Scholars , Think tanks , Annalists , leaders and ourselves a Transparent & free environment to talk about National issues .( Jihad bil lisan )
* we should put our resources to bring out more and more authors , economists , scientists , researchers (Jihad bil qalam /ilam)
*Lets grow as a Booming economy it is a Jihad as well. Lets work for a stronger economy and financial conditions , and lets implement a zakat system that "works"

* Our forces , PDF Pakistan defense forces as i call them Are the Perfect , most appropriate , well trained , and well equipped people to take Responsibility of " Jihad bil saif" .No one else would be allowed to draw out a gun and claim " Jihad".
PDF are the right people(Mujahidin) to protect our National frontiers and National assets , let them do their job and do not interfere but Participate .!!!!!!!!
Government of Pakistan and Pakistan armed forces is the right body to
assess the threat and then declare " Military Jihad" not the TTP and al qaida. If someone wants to become a Mujahid " He/She needs to go to the Closest Army/Air force/Navy selection center NOT to a Terrorist Camp in FATA
My message :
All i want Pakistanis to do " is to become a great individual and a true Pakistani " and then contribute into the common effort of National development ( do your part of Job honestly).
I hope and Pray that Inshallah we will become a Great Nation in the Future and we will have everything what we don't have today , Our tomorrow will be different from our Today .
