Tou ? Is mai buraii kia hai ??
When Asad Umar can get 50 Lakh / Month Salary , then what's wrong in 80k / Month Salary for an elected person of National Assembly ? Engro is a publicly traded company , and so that salary is outrageous as well , especially for a person who got only a BBA degree from IBA , and he is enjoying all the perks and benefits because his father was Lieutenant General in Pakistan Army !!
You want members of NA to work on the issues or not , or should they be constantly worried about their kids and families and how to live by and survive ? Ya phir the 2nd option is to get jageerdaar and business folks in your parliament who will be doing every thing for FREE !!!
Even though I am a PTI fellow , but I am hating this constant non-sense criticism of PMLN ! Khuch Khuda Ka Khoof Yaar !!
Does anybody actually try to check the "math" of Rauf Klasra. This guy has really gone crazy and has been posting totally ridiculous stories of late.
All members of parliament, ever since there has been a parliament, get travel vouchers for their travel to and from Islamabad. These vouchers can be used for travel on airlines and railways. The annual amount of these vouchers given to each member is Rs 300,000. At the end of the year, these vouchers expire. Each year most members use only a fraction of these vouchers, the rest expire without use. The government loses the full amount of the purchase price of vouchers even though most vouchers expire without use.
So now, the National Assembly secretariat is giving an option to members that instead of vouchers amounting Rs 300,000, they can get cash of Rs 90,000. This will take care of the problem of unused vouchers and will save more than Rs 7 crore (Rs 71,820,000 to be exact) to the public.
Instead of appreciating this step which can potentially save more than Rs 7 crore of public money, Rauf Klasra is 'playing' this news as if it is going to put more burden on the national treasury.
Shame on Rauf Klasra and shame on those who start commenting without actually reading and trying to understand a news item.

always defending. They get daily allowance of rupees 1000. and they also get their salary of 80,000/month so they earn 110,000/mnth. It is already enough and better than those who earns 10,000,20,000,30,000,40,000,50,000. The question is not that what the previous governments(PPP where PML-N was also a party for 3 years) did. But the question is that they should have eliminated this because Pakistan isn't a royal state to give away such allowances. They shouldn't act like kings. They come with the slogan of "Awam ki Khidmat" but they take every possible allowance which may not be used by them. Its simple math if you are there for "Awam ki khidmat" then eliminate extra expenditures for people. Otherwise stop calling it "Awam ki khidmat" but also say "Apni aur Awam ki khidmat".
