[h=2]All Nuclear Sites in India Within Pakistani Missle Strike Range[/h]

Press reports indicate that Pakistan has added 25 more nuclear missiles with a range of 700 -1000 kms to keep parity with India. In military terms this reinforces Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) and busts Bharat’s Cold Start strategy (CSD actually calls for a highly network centric warfare that depends on ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) capabilities and C4I2 systems) into frozen pieces of ice will melt away with the onslaught of the Hatafs. This means most of the cities and nuclear establishments in North India are vulnerable to attack. CSD actually calls for a highly network centric warfare that depends on ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) capabilities and C4I2 systems. India aims to acquire Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) for implementing CSD with a greater confidence.Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) is basically a “technology developed and used for countering the incoming enemy missiles with the help of interceptors, either ground based or air based” Bharat has been working with Israel to develop counter-measures to Pakistani missiles.
Pakistan has been ‘watching closely with concern’ India’s increasing nuclear cooperation with the United States and France.“That is the benchmark… if we see something happening in India on this front, naturally we react and we have to,” said a Pakistani official. Pakistani strategists and deterrence theorists see the Indian acquisition of BMD is to undermine Pakistan’s nuclear deterrent. Delhi wants to acquire BMDs and then practice militarily adventurous policies against Pakistan, hoping that it will be able to contain Pakistani retaliatory actions. The very short flight time of Pakistani missiles and its geographical contiguity with Bharat make it difficult for Delhi’s interception systems to challenge all Pakistani missiles successfully. Pakistan’s lack of strategic depth will prove to be its asset here rather than a liability.
The addition of 25 missiles would be the highest number of missiles Pakistan has ever produced in a year. These ATA (air-to-air) and SAM (surface-to-air missiles). The Air to Surface (ATS) and Sea to Surface (STS) would be able to hit a target at a distance between 700 to 1,000 kilometers, which would put nearly all major Indian cities within their range.
The plan was in line with Pakistan’s official policy of having ‘maintaining a minimum deterrence’ especially against India. Pakistan’s Strategic Plans Division (SPD) — a high powered body that oversees Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal — was also supervising the production of new missiles.
The SPD works under the National Commands Authority (NCA) that is headed by Prime Minister Gilani and has all services chiefs as its members. In one of the recent NCA meetings that SPD briefed the authority about the plan that envisaged the production of highest number of missiles ever in a year.
Pakistan was rapidly adding to its nuclear arsenal and the number of its warheads might have surpassed those of France. Pakistan’s deterrence technologies include the supersonic and hypersonic cruise missiles like Babar. Pakistan is currently working on ECMs (electronic counter measures) serving as decoys for deception purposes to make real targets unidentifiable. Other technologies that Islamabad is working on are MIRVs are also among effective technologies to counter the interceptors

From the day of its birth Pakistan faced incredible harsh treatment from its neighbour India. Indians have never accepted it as an independent country. According to them its still part of India. If somehow India succeeds in breaking Pakistan into pieces. Pakistan will reborn again, may be with another name, after few centuries.
