Azizi is a figment of Aftab Iqbal's imagination who first appeared in his writings, later Sohail Ahmed's talent made it into a runaway success. If Aftab Iqbal comes out with a little different concept that does well, viewers will benefit from it. But the credit will off course will remain with Aftab Iqbal for being the brains behind 2 successful shows.
Sohail Ahmed's talent can only be matched by Shakeel Siddiqui, who is funny but not cheap. But as the show is based in LAhore by casting well known stage actors available there they are trying to put together a winning formula for better ratings, they are counting on stage artists who themselves are responsible for the devastation of Pakistan's Lahore theater.[due to display of mental and physical vulgarity making families uncomfortable to ever return to theatre with their offending pathetic show]
Naseem Vicky is not very funny even with double meaning cheap jokes, for show to be successful it is important the person is able to survive for sometime, and his prospects don't look good. Amanullah is a veteran comedian who does make people laugh with his witty one-liners but does get laughter with mostly Punjabi act[which mite not be understood by many], suffers from a tendency to go offtrack and his punchlines become unabashedly vulgar. Both of these stage actors ramble and repeat their gigs which will gather cold responses after a week or so of consecutive shows. Best of luck to Aftab Iqbal but the people he is betting on can make his show look like a dud.
