A Question to Moderators - About Existing Threads & Creating A New Thread

As you have a policy that no one can open a new thread, if there is already a thread open on the same topic, then you will merge the new one into the existing one.

Could you please tell me that following thread has been open since 21/04/2010

But on 25/04/2010 Mr. Azhar1234 started a new thread under the title of

Is it possible Seeing Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a Dream?

Why none of you's merge this new thread with the 100% same topic into the old one?

As you do not allow two or more threads on the same topic then what about these two threads with the same topic.

I am glad you brought this up. This is definately our intention to have one thread on each topic unless there is something absolutely new. We decided to implement this policy in our recent moderators meeting. That is the reason you see some threads not merged yet. I appreciate you pointing them out.

Our moderators will keep a close eye on them from now on. If you find a thread that you should be merged with an existing one, please help us out and report it and we will make sure It gets merged.
