So true the title.
Renaissance of the Indian Muslims, which culminated in their political awakening, resulted in the birth of Pakistan. From the day one Pakistan faced a constant threat to its very existence from India. India constantly tried to eliminate Pakistan. Naturally reaction from Pakistan was to raise its guards and increase defence. 1971 war resulted Pakistan to peruse nuclear power just to survive. Issues like Kashmir constantly kept Pakistan at high guards. Pakistan is still fighting battle of survival. If India let Pakistan survive then Pakistan may not need to keep a nuclear bomb. Key is resolving Kashmir issue. This is only possible if US changes AFPAK to AFPIndi policy. Bringing India into this Triangle will address problem. Fighting in Afghanistan is only managing symptoms, actual disease is Kashmir.
