When your are in a jungle you and say you don't see any tree then you are blind, or don't what to see. Same is with Mr. Talat and other Punjabi so called journalists. They have mind set that only one party is responsible for all the mess in Karachi, which is a shame to think that way, that gives an impression, your are not fair in your analysis. When you talk about Karachi you always forget one fact that PPP is the ruling party and they have the power also, they also have Amman committee. But no one say any thing about this. See the remarks of business community, Zulfiqar Mirza is on record about giving 300,000 guns to PPP workers, now there is Tappi who like Mirza, another PPP politician pain in the neck. You lost East Pakistan now you don't need Karachi, a city of all colour and race. Please don't do that we can not afford this any more.God save Pakistan Aameen.

An open question to Nawaz Sharif: How will you feel if people from DG Khan, Bhakkar, Mianwali and other places will come and rule Lahore denying local elected politicians any power and participation. Exactly this is what's happening in Karachi. 1850 old British system gives rural Pakistan more power to rule rest of urban population. They do not belong to urban areas and they have not developed rural lands, that's why they have destroyed whole urban Pakistan. That's why world wide democracies including China have adopted Strong City Government system. We need to abolish this 1850s Provincial governments and let cities and villages run by its own locals. When we use all western and American policies and principles in Pakistani financial, medical, technological, economic, academic, engineering, music, food, and in many area; then why not political governance system adopted by the world. American is run by its 19,700 Mayor so does China its more than 41,636 elected Mayors. Unless we adopt that system and let each city and town protect its own interest and people. Karachi issue will get worst and will destroy Pakistan. If MQM have mandate in Karachi and Hyderabad; giving them City Governments will help Pakistan not hurt. Karachi is the only city where eleceted people have no power. This city is ruled by center as Rangers and rural Sind as Provincial government. There is NO local government. Same way PML-N in Lahore, IK in KPK, and other parties in Sind and Baluchistan. We need to have 35+ provinces and Strong City Governments to develop and for security as well. THINK.

The solutions you are providing is a real solution. But, will they do it? Never, as there is a huge trust deficit among all nationalities in Pakistan. Especially they are afraid of the education and administrative skills of the urban population of Sindh province. So my dear, these cosmetic steps will not bring any change. The only change I can foresee is very horrible if the situation like this prevails. Allah hum sub ko fasad se bachaey. Ameen
