1-No doubt the word Pakistan was coined by Rehmet Ali; using fictitous explanations for each word making Pakistan; the Quaid iAzam never used word Pakistan in the way Rehmetali used. The meaning of word was Pak=Muslim istan = place as was used by Hindu press of that timeand Quaid i Azam accepted it. Rehmetali who coined word Pakistan never joined All Inda Muslim league in his life because of differences of opinion.
2A mistake by a political person (Rehmetali) must not be acknowledged. He used word Afghania for present KP. He never used word Afghanistan. As per his description if the present KP is accepted as Afghania (He never used word Afghanistan in his explanation), the people living here will be Afghanians not Afghans. The people have right to name their place. The word Pakistan was given to our place. The word Pakistan was never used before in the history for this or any other place. Similarly, the people of KP oted for word khyber pakhtoonkhwa for themselve. the never opted for word Pakhtoonistan / Pahtoonistan or Afghania or Afghanistan or like name.
2-Word Afghan was coined by the founder Durrani empire dominated by Pashtoons, in 1747 when the state of Afghanistan was created and all people (Ozbek, Tajik, Turkmen, Hazara, Pashtoons etc consisting of 8 ethnic groups) living in that land were called Afghans. So pashtoons in the history of Afganistan were counted as one Afghan ethnic group making Afghans, So pashtoon and Afghans are two different terms. If you are not historian. Do not confuse people with your bogus arguments. more number of Pashtoons live in Pakistan then in Afghanistan. More number of Pashtoons live in Karachi and Peshwar than in Kabul. History tells that large groups are joined by small groups. we do not have desire, but we will have no problem if the small number Afghan pashtoons join Pakistan. We will welcome them. The groups like PTM etc. are small pressure groups- nothing else.
