umar shehzad, we are debating because of different perspectives. You keep focussing on one man's plight. And in your mind, one man's plight is much bigger and REAL than the nation's plight.
you say you will survive ! do you mind explaining how do you think you will survive? you probably have enough money in bank, or you got property, or you know people ! ....
what about people who have none of that ! how long do you think they should continue living their miserable lives the way they have been living.
a dilapidated building HAS TO BE DEMOLISHED BEFORE you choose to erect a new building. Not one or two, but quite a few people will lose their wages, some people have lost their lives and quite a few got injured. Do you think Azadi comes without a price? Do you remember what happened in aftermath of Pakistan ! in other words are you suggestive that Pakistan should have never existed in the first place simply because it costed a lot of lives.
Mere bhai, it all depends what picture you are focussing on. You are focusing simply on what you are seeing in your immediate vicinity. This one man losing his bread earning is enough a reason for you to call this whole movement null and void.
I would have thought that losing his bread earning capacity, a man would actually have the right stimulus to get out and not return back home before this corrupt system is toppled.
Hardships should be the driving factor, not deterring factors.
In the end, I am not criticizing your empathy for a common man on the street. Empathy is very important. But please do not let go of the bigger picture here. These sacrifices will not go wasted if we make sure that this movement achieves what it stands for.
