sir i have been to few countries, i wont talk about western ones or gulf ones, but these less popular central asian states, and few like nepal vietnam etc ., ordinary women and young girls/kids on their roads are so much safe in those countries that one tends to feel ashamed on our own state of affairs, we are such a great country but our people's behaviour towards petty things is mindless, there is a huge social divide taking place in our country, a behaviour which you and I would define as vicious and barbaric, same will be acceptable and normal to some classes of the society.

Where do we head from here? Who will be our messiah?

Dr. sb honestly there is no other side of the story I think.
It is quite common in rush places in Pakistan.
I have myself witnessed in Lahore in 1989 on Daata Darbar annual urs a 10-11-year-old girl being molested in a similar fashion. She was with her mother and the mob was probing every inch of her body and the poor girl and her mother were crying out loud. Some people came to their rescue and made a circle around them and rescued from the mob.
Imagine the trauma that girl would have for the rest of her life.
