I am not at all surprised by this move of setting up an official dating agency. Iranian leaders now can even time itself to the next millennium to get close to USA now, such is the affinity.

Anyway any country whatever which on one hand scares its best people out of country for fear of persecution like khomeni did and i) which indulges in endless wars for decades where young men are consumed in a fashion what Hazrat Ali described as limbs and parts of body falling in war like petals from the flower, and where ii ) their leaders were commanding near child soldiers to run on mines in Iran Iraq war rather than accept Gen Zia OIC sponsored Peace agreement talks and iii) where even now young men are being allowed to get slaughtered in Iraq , Syria and Yemen rather than accept legitimate sunni majority government in Syria and iv) where further wars are being threatened on sunnis for nothing , there such scarcity of humans is natural .

Europe needed all this Asian stuff for factories just because of that, their several wars in late 1800s and early and mid 1900 took care of their future by killing young men in droves. Till late 1990s you would see this effect in the UK for example , in the form of tens of thousands of women who could not get married and now in their 80s and 90s lying in government care with no families or careers none to visit them for say six months or even two years or five .

Dating agency in an Iranian culture with temporary marriage will not work to increase breed , it will increase more such Muta like fruitless marriages , mostly unacceptable in traditional sunni world as a relation with no soul in it , only mechanics and lust of it . A relationship where not much can be expected by parents from either side except more trouble .

Khomeni and khamenei have been the biggest enemies of mothers of Iran and dating agencies cannot solve the history blunder or the stain . Saddam was another enemy of this type of motherhood , except that he was modern.

طلاقیں زیادہ تر 30 سال کی عمر سے کم جوڑوں میں ہوتی ہیں، جن کی شرح ایران کی آبادی میں سب سے زیادہ ہے۔ یہ اعداد و شمار حکام کو پریشان کر رہے ہیں۔

کھیلوں اور نوجوانوں کے امور کے نائب وزیر محمود گلریزی نے اس منصوبے کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے امید ظاہر کی کہ اس نئی ویب سائٹ سے ایک لاکھ شادیاں ہو سکیں گی اور نوجوانوں کے درمیان شادی کے مسائل ٹھیک ہو سکیں گے۔

شاید یہ ایک جرات مند دعویٰ ہے لیکن اسے یہ بھی ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ حکومت اس رجحان کو بدلنے کی کوشش کر رہی ہے۔

نئی ویب سائٹ کا نام ہمسن تبیان نیٹ ہے اور اسے ملک کے رہبر اعلیٰ کی نگرانی میں ایک تنظیم اسلامک ڈویلپمنٹ آرگنائزیشن چلا رہی ہے جو اسلامی طرز زندگی کو فروغ دیتی ہے۔

ہمسن تبیان نیٹ پر تقریباً 100 لوگ کام کر رہے ہیں۔ ابھی یہ صرف تہران میں دستیاب ہے لیکن اسے دیگر شہروں میں بھی لے کر آنے کی امید ہے۔

صارفین سے ان کے والدین کی ازدواجی حیثیت اور کام کے بارے میں پوچھا جاتا ہے

محبت کی تلاش میں صارفین سے ان کی بنیادی تفصیلات پوچھی جاتی ہے جیسے کہ ان کا قد اور وزن۔ لیکن ساتھ میں ان کے والدین کی ازدواجی حیثیت اور کام کے بارے میں بھی پوچھا جاتا ہے۔

ان کے مشغلے، پسندیدہ موسیقی اور فلموں کے بارے میں روایتی سوالات نہیں پوچھے جاتے۔

روایتی ڈیٹنگ سائٹس کے برعکس امیدوار ایک دوسرے کی پروفائلز اور یہاں تک کہ تصاویر بھی نہیں دیکھ سکتے کیونکہ مذہبی حکام اسے اسلامی تقاضوں کے مطابق نہیں سمجھتے۔

صرف ویب سائٹ کے منتظمین کو یہ چیزیں دیکھنے کی اجازت ہے اور وہ فیصلہ کرتے ہیں کہ کون لوگ آپس میں ہم آہنگ جوڑیاں بن سکتے ہیں۔

کیا یہ ویب سائٹ نوجوانوں کو اپنی طرف مائل کرے گی؟ اس کے بارے میں ابھی کچھ کہا نہیں جا سکتا لیکن اسے تجسس ضرور پیدا ہوئی ہے۔

تہران کے ایک نوجوان نے بی بی سی فارسی کو بتایا یہاں تہران میں لوگوں سے ملنا بہت مشکل ہے اور یہ روایتی خاندانوں سے تعلق رکھنے والے لوگوں کے لیے ایک اچھا حل ہے۔

لیکن کئی لوگ خوش سے زیادہ ہوشیار لگتے دیے۔

تہران کے باشندہ علی کا کہنا ہے کہ وہ اس ویب سائٹ میں نہیں شامل ہونگے کیونکہ اپنی بیوی ڈھونڈنے کی ذمہ داری وہ حکام کو نہیں سونپ سکتے اور ان پر اعتماد نہیں کرتے۔

ایران میں شادی سے پہلے جنی تعلقات رکھنا غیر قانونی ہے جس کی وجہ سے کئی لوگ متعہ یا کم وقت کی شادیاں کرنا پسند کرتے ہیں

ایک ایسے ملک میں جہاں انٹرنیٹ اور سوشل میڈیا تک رسائی پر حکومت کا بہت زیادہ کنٹرول ہے وہاں پر حکومت کی ہی جانب سے متعارف کروائی گئی انٹرنیٹ ڈیٹنگ ویب سائٹ ایک عجیب سا قدم لگتا ہے۔

لیکن محمود گلرازی کے مطابق ایران میں تقریباً 300 انٹرنیٹ ڈیٹنگ ویب سائٹس پہلے سے ہی موجود ہیں اور یہ نئی ویب سائٹ ان لوگوں کو وہاں سے ہٹانے کی امید رکھتی ہے۔

پہلے سے ہی موجود ڈیٹنگ ویب سائٹوں کو محمود غیر قانونی اور غیر اخلاقی کہتے ہیں۔ حکام کو خدشہ ہے کہ ایسی ویب سائٹیں شادی سے پہلے جنسی تعلقات رکھنے کو فروغ دیتی ہیں جو ایران کے سخت شرعی قوانین کے تحت غیر قانونی ہیں۔ اس قانون سے بچنے کے لیے لوگ عارضی شادیاں یعنی متعہ کرتے ہیں۔

یقیناً کچھ ویب سائٹیں اس عمل کا استحصال کرنے کے لیے بنائی گئی ہیں اور یہ ان لوگوں کے لیے ہیں جو صرف جنسی تعلقات رکھنے میں دلچسپی رکھتے ہیں۔

متعہ کے تحت ایک شادی 30 منٹ سے لے کر 99 سال کی بھی ہو سکتی ہے۔ اس کے لیے سرکاری کاغذات کی بھی ضرورت نہیں ہے اور بس ایک مذہبی عالم کی موجودگی کافی ہے۔

اس راستے کو اکثر پہلے سے شادی شدہ مرد اختیار کرتے ہیں جو دوسری شادی کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔ لیکن شادی شدہ خواتین متعہ کا استعمال نہیں کر سکتیں۔

ایران میں نجی اور سرکاری ڈیٹنگ ویب سائٹوں کے بڑھنے کے باوجود ملک میں کئی ایرانی ہیں جو ڈیٹنگ کو حقیقی زندگی سے باہر نہیں لے کر جانا چاہتے۔

تہران میں رہنے والے ایک نوجوان محمد کہتے ہیں کہ وہ اس لڑکی کو ڈیٹ کرنا چاہتے ہیں جسے وہ حقیقت میں مل سکیں، انٹرنیٹ پر نہیں۔

اس سرکاری ڈیٹنگ ویب سائٹ کو اپنا ہدف پورا کرنے کے لیے ابھی خاصا وقت لگ سکتا ہے۔​

I understand your sentiments and all of us were tutored to use word Muslim for ourselves even though westerners called us Muhammedans . Unfortunately over centuries some groups have arisen who call themselves Muslims but follow a host of other men and beliefs . Ahmadis who spread centre is Africa call themselves Muslims but they follow a later day man and call him prophet , the Mirza , they further say that those who do not believe in Mirza are out of bucket of Islam . So they are called Mirzais not Muhammedan . Similarly if some one tries to show love or appreciates some companion of Prophet Muhammed ,even more than the prophet Muhammed , and attaches claims of miracles to this other non prophet person , then there is some doubt about verasity of such person's true faith , can we call him a Muhammedan ? .

Word Sunni is not a replacement of word Muslim , but it indicates the fact we follow sunnah of prophet Muhammed , it is a round about way of saying what Western people call us , I.e Muhammedan . It also distinguishes the emphasis from parallel concept shian Ali , which conveys the meaning it is intended , that is shia .

It would have been a lot nicer that such words as sunni or shian Ali would not have arisen but they have . word Sunni therefore is more explanatory of exact belief system of a person .

Offcourse if Mirzais drop the idea of Mirza being prophet then they can be welcomed beck to Islam , similarly if shian Ali return to take interest in Quran, take to regular Nimaz in imam bargah and rename them mosques , and drop these old high priest concepts and excessive lamentation philosophies and maintain proper order of reverence openly starting from Prophet himself then there would be no need to use word sunni so excessively . I hope you understand that by using word sunni were are trying to avoid ambiguity of what a person follows or beleives in ,as there are many look alikes of Islam .

Are you aware of belief system of Alawites and Druzes ? And of bizarre Sufi system within Islam . Sunni conveys for temporary purposes some accurate meaning of what is a real Muslim.

This is not a scholarly explanation but a working explanation of MY use of word SUNNI .

Finally one needs to read Durood Sharif meaning being part of daily prayers of sunnis to understand the comprehensive meaning of sunni versus other parallel or even averse doctrines in the name of Islam .

Iran problem is that the birth rate in Iran has gone down below replacement level ... If Iran do not recover it , the Shia population will go down form 15-20% to 10% among Muslim world in next 30 years !

Anyway there is no true Islam in this world if we judge it according to sects ....... Shias have their own Hadit Books to expalin Islam and Sunis have their own Hadit books to explain Islam

Both groups complied or corrupted the Hadith books to suite their Political agenda during early Islam

If we discover some more things like Quran of first 20 years then some of these controversies will lessen . more likely but not defintely against shia doctrine as authenticity in terms of archeological finds of earliest writings of Islam lessen scope of sects .
