What if its not today soon ... there will be a day when the MIZAAN will be placed and sab khara khota poora poora tul jayee ga ... i wish that day you get permission to defend MQM but sure you wont ... wont ask us ... ask yourself with a clean heart ....that do MQM is involved in target killing and extortion in khi ... and no need even to tell us just live with your answer ... Allah sab ka khatma emaan pay karey.

On the first look of the decision I am utterly disappointed, I hope and pray the detailed decision will prove me wrong.

In my view the decision is very clever and thoughtful.
I'm also sure that most of the stupid and greedy leadership will not understand the decision and will start gloating that they SC did not rule anything serious, however it is actually the opposite, which has to be read in between the lines.
The court has remained in its limits as per the constitution and openly blamed the government for all the problems in Karachi and all over the country.
The court also mentioned that all major parties are supporting their militant wings and involved in bhatha mafia.
They have made the government responsible for everything.
The court also knows that the government will not take all these actions and will loose its value openly in the eyes of the public, thus eventually loosing support and popularity.
This decision of the court is another big and bold step in tightening the rope around the neck of the corrupt government.

I DO NOT AGREE EVEN ONE BIT .... As there is one simple point any court has to follow that " JUSTIC SHOULD NOT ONLY BE DONE BUT SEEN ALSO AS DONE " and imagine if you lost a love one in this current violence wave in khi what you gonna get out of this verdict ...??? even no compensation announced no benifets for the family and kids of the people got killed ... if this is the verdict and one thinks rope gets tightened then he should wait and see on the judgement day how the justice will be done and how the rope gets tightened.(thumbsdown)(thumbsdown)(thumbsdown)

Karachi suo motu: MQM welcomes Supreme Court verdict
The MQM said it has directed all units and sectors to take action against any miscreants in the party.
KARACHI:
A statement from the MQM said that the party was grateful to the chief justice of Pakistan and the bench for acting to protect the lives and property of the people of Karachi. The committee says the Supreme Court decision will help maintain peace in the city.

Earlier, the court had announced the verdict in the case and had ruled out a ban on the MQM.

They were my own views and its your choice to agree or not.
To understand this judgement we have to read the Constitution, (without being emotional and angry)
The role of the Supreme Court is to make a ruling for a case after examining all the facts. They gave the ruling.
Implementation of the judgment is the task of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, which has been ordered by the SC to take the said actions.
Now if the government fails to implement the judgement, then the fault lies on the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

What the CJ meant was: We are not going to do anything. Here is what the problem is, you fix it
they are the one who is responsible for 1000's of innocent lives and damage to property and CJ wants THEM to fix it. How ridiculous and absurd can it get. But then again what has SC done so far other than one, the Sialkot case

Pakistan's Supreme Court has said that parties from the ruling political coalition are involved in the murder of civilians in the port city of Karachi.
At least 800 people have died in politically motivated attacks in Pakistan's largest city in 2011.
While the court held that all political parties were responsible, it stated that the party which controls Karachi, the MQM, was especially at fault.
The MQM has denied the allegations and says that it is being victimised.
It says that it is being singled out by the judiciary because of its liberal views.
The BBC's Syed Shoaib Hasan says that most of the observations made by the Supreme Court do not come as a surprise.
But our correspondent says they reaffirm the fact that senseless and increasingly brutal killings in the city have been carried out with official complicity.
The Supreme Court also maintained that large parts of Karachi had become no-go areas - even for the security agencies.
It said that operations needed to be conducted in those neighbourhoods which are controlled by criminal gangs.
The court also observed that a major reason for the breakdown in law and order was the politicisation of the police force.
Our correspondent says that the findings are likely to make difficult reading for the government, which says it has restored peace in Karachi.
But the city's underlying problems remain unresolved.
The court's findings follow a judicial investigation which concluded that the government had failed to protect civilians in the country's southern business capital.
Much of the recent violence involves armed gangs linked to rival ethnic and political groups, although the security forces in August suggested that an influx of hundreds of thousands of ethnic Pashtuns had worsened tensions.
