I personally believe that it was the premeditated murder of the Sri Lankan man and not the abrupt eruption of violent emotions that compelled the mob to murder and then burn the man alive. It is so horrendous even to imagine the events leading to this horrific tragedy. It was as horrible and sadistic in nature as was the killings of four policemen by TLP terrorists in October 2021. I criticized the government for not sentencing to death the murderers of four innocent policemen trying to maintain law and order and save citizen lives from the barbaric violence of the TLP terrorist mobsters.
It is a widely acknowledged fact that terrorists or people of violence and hate do not act on the spur of the moment but have an embedded rage, grudge, or hate against some they consider as enemies, aggressors, and oppressors who have illegally occupied their lands, suppressed their liberty, civil rights, killed their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, humiliated them for too long by denying them the right to live in total freedom as an independent people in their homeland so ruthless illegally occupied by the enemies.
It is this feeling of humiliation, intimidation, illegal occupation of their lands, suffering of stomach-churning atrocities and barbarities that their people suffered at the hand of the occupiers of their lands that make them feel terribly aggrieved and turn into monsters in revenge.
But, what motivated the monsters against the poor Sri Lankan man yesterday in Sialkot was not the sudden abruption of hate or victimization but something more sinister that needs to be fully investigated by the authorities and steps taken to suppress it ever happening again in Pakistan. The criminals responsible for these sadistic murderers must not be allowed to get away from the heinous crime.
