Indian media is now trying to mobilize the Indian community and get help from jewish victims of 26/11 against this acquittal, and their news agencies in order to protect US-Indian ties now floating old news more India access to Headley news to sooth themselves, dumba**es:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday expressed serious apprehensions about the possibility of a deal between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the US and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan behind a making a weak case in the Chicago court against Tahawwur Hussain Rana. He was acquitted in the case of the 26/11 terror attacks on Mumbai, though the court held him guilty of conspiring with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), an internationally banned terrorist organisation.
The ISI was clearly in the dock and it would have been exposed and suffered serious embarrassment had the FBI brought out in court the role played by the Pakistani intelligence agency in the 26/11 case by pursuing the elaborate testimony of David Headley on the involvement of its senior officials in the planning, BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
He said that the apprehension of the FBI-ISI deal also arises from the way the US gave a clean chit to the Pakistani leadership in shielding Osama bin Laden in its garrison town of Abbottabad.
Wondering if all evidence was properly presented by the FBI before the court, Prasad put the blame on the Manmohan Singh government, asking whether it had ensured that the US prosecution agencies pursued the crucial trial properly.
He further said that the government must properly examine the entire matter and ensure that as per the US law an appeal is filed by the prosecution agencies.
Pointing out that everything is not yet lost in the ISI escaping the blame for the 26/11, Prasad exhorted the Indian government to mobilse the Indian community in the US in a suit for damages filed by relatives of the Jew victims of the 26/11 attack in a New York Court. India must grab the opportunity thrown up by the court summoning the ISI chief in the case, he said, adding that the government must take vigilant steps for convictions of all terrorists in the Mumbai attack case and not just Kasab.
