The Foreign & Commonwealth Office admits it has information which relates to Terrorist activity by Altaf Hussain and MQM. Their excuse for refusing to release the information is it would affect "International Relations" with Pakistan.

Dost nothing much is going to happen now until the new year, I have also thought of what you are thinking, and it is a possibility. We also have further requests pending for different periods of time. We expect the same answer to those too. However the fact that they have admitted they do hold "relevant" information, now opens up other avenues. Altaf Hussain is British, and he may think he has some sort of immunity. Here are the relevant points:

CPS are currently reviewing the video transcripts against Altaf which the police handed over to them recently.

Surely the Police can request the information which the FCO holds on file as it will be relevant to their investigation as to whether Altaf has links to terrorist groups which is blatantly against the current British Laws.

Secondly the metropolitan police authority needs to see this letter as they are there to ensure that the met police discharges their duties in a satisfactory mannor.

Constructively i think we should discuss who this information is useful to with a view to exposing altaf.
