Shah Mahmood Qureishi fired for speaking up.

Army has a decipline and the teachers and students sign a contract for the code of conduct and that is why they have to go otherwise they would be going to the court. If you know what you are signing for and then try to go against that it is breach of contract,but i suppose you will not understand what it means, after all we are all trained by the politicians to flip flop as we wish and that is considered Clever! But is it honorable?

Oh PUHLEEESE. Give that contract signing BS to someone else.

When a person joins the Army they effing sign up to protect and abide by the CONSTITUTION of this country. Why the hell then do they come and abrogate it every ten effing years??

Why dont they goto court if they see things going downhill? Oh wait...they also suspend the court if they see it isnt abiding by there edicts!

But a bloody civilian tearing up an Army Institutions contract... OOOOOOooooo BLASPHEMMMMYYYY!

awan4ever !!!!!!!! you have maximum representation of personnel in the armed forces, looks like you were unsuccessful when you attempted to join, just a thought, if you are an awan indeed. Look, there are rules and regulations to be followed and one just cant vent out the grievances in open air embarrassing the administration. These so called 'armed forces run" universities/institutes have provided a conducive environment for learning in Pakistan if they are looked at on merit and without any bias. You can compare the rankings of these institutions nationally and internationally (NUST for example) that they have earned a place in a short amount of time. There are regimented universities elsewhere as well like Air Force Institute of Technology of US Air Force and Royal Military College of Sciences UK where civilian staff and students excel.
If this guy who was roughed up was part of the faculty at one of the institutions abroad, would he dare to get up and blast the administration? I am sure he wont. It is very easy to show "bughz-e-Muawiya" and blame the armed forces for every ill in the society. The honorable prof might have been better elsewhere if he didnt like the fauji mahol so to say. No one forced him to stick to Bahria uni and yet at the same time blow the whistle unnecessarily unless he wanted to make the headline news....chill... man..

When something is written in inverted commas it means that the writer is taking the quote from SOMEONE ELSE.
If you had an iota of brain matter you would have realized that the 'bloody civilians' in inverted commas refers to what the Army wallahs refer to when talking about civilians.
