You must complete 1095 days to get citizenship which he had since 1999 before he got his citizenship. He was not in Pakistan from 1999-2005, he might be in Pakistan from sometime 2002 to 2004. The processing time of citizenship varies case to case. When I got mine it took only 8 month back then. In his case CISIS had interviewed him unlike us since he is renowned scholar. I can tell you for sure that he is not lying about that. Its up to you whether you believe it or not.

3 years = 1095 days from 1999 to 2001 was he in canada full time? 2 years he came back in middle of 2001 i guess for election campaign got elected in 2002 to 2004 till . Left for canada in mid 2004 i again guessing from his dubious press speech.
there are lots of If and buts .. to complete 3 years.. even if he had short cuts like people use to do with out getting stamp on passport for entry at pak airport which is dodging the system like many pak people done it ! i sure he did not use that dodgy short cut as Islamic scholar , Right ?
Ok so He was given special treatment for passport .. umm no test ,, you mean you got your passport in 8 months time the moment you land ?? dude you must be joking back then i can agree on on waiting for citizen test exam time was 6 to 8 months . which means 3 years + 6 to 8 months for passport means 3.5 year. Why NOT MAKE IT SIMPLE !! GIVE COPY OF HIS LANDED IMMIGRATION PAPER AND PASSPORT COPY FOR VERIFYING DATES
Oh one guy from media just asked for copy And Qadari Refused saying No Need.

I came to Canada sometime in 1998 and got my citizenship in 2002 out of which sometime i was in Pakistan back and forth for few months. I don't know when did you applied and got your immigration as i said citizenship process varies case to case it means it depends where do you live in Canada. I didn't say he didn't tested but there is different process of such dignitaries and this is standard all over the world. Govt. take different approach If you and me apply for passport/citizenship than world dignitaries/scholars/politicians.
Do you think Canadian agencies who are responsible for the security of the country would give the citizenship to him/or anyone without checking anything? At last, I will give you very simple advise just check with the Canadian authorities about his claim, you will get the truth and this is if you believe them!
