Please put comparison is US dollars or 2018 rupees. This comparison is flawed because value of Rupee decreased significantly due to un-necessary loans taken by Nawazoo government at high interest rates.
For example if value of Rs decreased against dollar by 25%, it makes everything expensive by 25% indirectly.

Finance Minister ran away in his own successful govt. even when 7 months remaining of their own term. Muftah Ismail criticized the policy on Dollar and dollar jumped 22 rupees when muftah came in place of runaway Ishaq Dollar.
