taraweeh na quran mein hai naa hadees mein.
Its not a sunnat of rasool allah.

Hazrat omer started it and whole ummat accepted and adopted it.
If a religious action that is not in violation of quran o sunnat is adopted by the whole ummat through generations (ijma and tawatur) then it gains legitimacy.
Anyone choosing to do 8 or 20 is their choice and not a problem.

Anyone not agreeing with this whole tradition of taraweeh is also not a problem of kufr o islam.

Lol, Kaaba main is hee liay 20 rikat parhatay hain takay aap logon ko aitraz na ho :P
ahl-e-hadees kay nazdeek 8 rikaat taraweeh hay, us say ziada main koi harj nahi.

PS, main ahl-e-Hadeeth nahi , balkay main kisi ek maslak ko follow nahi kerta. Khali un ka point of view agay rakh raha hon.

it is religious program not political show u watch 8 to 11 regarding politician and corruption
