At first, we are not supporting anyone.
Afghanistan current regime had failed badly and has created a security vacuum which seems to be filled by the Taliban.
If you see the map today, Kabul current regime seems to be failed. Yes Taliban take over may bring some hardliners in some dreams but Pakistan is a big country and with thick population, it's not possible in Pakistan.

Secondly Pakistan should support only that Government in Kabul which can bring peace in Afghanistan. Taliban gains prove that they have local population support otherwise it's not possible to make such gains.

For liberals of Pakistan, Talibans are Islam and Sharia and no human rights. For Afghanistan's liberals they are Pakistan army and Punjab. They are confused.
ہم نظریہ جانورں کی حیوانیت کے پیش نظر یہ لوگ طالبان کو نا نگل سکتے ہیں نا اگل سکتے ہیں

For Talibans themselves, they are Mujahideen and destined for heaven with 72 virgins
72 virgins are actually refering to the holes inside your brain which can't hold anything straight. Ask any Muslim or anyone like Taliban who claim to be Muslim about 72 virgins. There is no existance of this concept. Produce any academic reference from Quran or anywhere about 72 virgins. I would suggest you not to indulge yourself in religious debate because your religion is a belief of no God. This is a political forum and this is a political issue, at least for us as Pakistanis.

This time it is Pakistan and Qatar that is supporting Taliban
Pakistan is not supporting anyone. If you see the gains on ground by the Taliban, they are occupying areas far from Pakistan. Which clearly means either they are supported by local war lord's or local population is supporting them.
Kabul regime has done something seriously wrong that is why people are supporting Taliban.
Blaming Pakistan is easy and is kind of excuse.

My bad. It was never 72 virgins but a single 72 year old virgin.

Pakistan do not have any favourites said today by our foreign minister.
Current regime is loosing it's power, Taliban are gaining strength. Pakistan is very rational in it's approach which is requirement of the time.

Yes some people might have sympathy with Taliban, but Pakistan is an influencer but not the party.

That is what Kabul regime claims. Can you give us some evidence. How can you support your claim? How Pakistan is supporting? Militarily, financially, ground or air support, training camps? How? I have a counter narrative because borders are sealed. America is still there with air dominance. Borders posts were still under Afghan national army when Taliban were taking parts on its southern, western and northern borders.

Pakistan supports Taliban ideologically. It has so much influence on Taliban that it even helped US reach peace talks with Taliban.

Taliban agreed on peace talks since they want a recognition of their government.
Otherwise they can win ground but it will increase their troubles.
Secondly we support Government and people in Afghanistan which have good relations with Pakistan.
Americans could have retained one airport in Afghanistan for aerial support to Afghan forces but america have understood the ground realities and accepted it.

Can you enlighten us how Pakistan is supporting them ideologically? What do you think if Pakistan will ask Talibans to hand over the areas they captured to Kabul regime, will they? Don't you think it is in the interest of Pakistan that there is peace in Afghanistan? And is Pakistan not aware of it? If what you claim is true, will you support India inside Afghanistan to counter Pakistan's influence through Talibans?

Of course. Afghan Taliban are against foreign influence in Afghanistan and that includes India. So it's in Pakistan's interest to support Taliban.

Actually he doesn't understand Pashto else I will put links here where every Taliban commander since 2002 asked for negotiations with US and NATO. When Pakistan facilitated negotiation between Talibans and US doesn't mean that Pakistan dictated Talibans with their terms of negotiations. Talibans have Qatar office since 2014 and they presented their plan everywhere in conferences, in Japan, Russia, Germany, China, Turkey.

Taliban are very cunning politicians and understand geographical importance very well. People consider them only fighters but they are very cunning.
In any case, Afghanistan of ashraf ghani or Taliban is an independent country and have right for choices.
We are only disappointed by ghani's stupid statements and blaming Pakistan.

You didn't answer my question. How do we support Talibans ideologically?
Because of our shared interests. Taliban oppose India's influence in Afghanistan. Taliban are anti TTP. Taliban even support Pakistan's view on Durand line.

Pakistan recognized Taliban govt in Kabul between 1996 and 2001. When Indian airline was hijacked in 1999, it was taken to Afghanistan, and Pakistani terrorists in Indian jails were released in passengers exchange. So Taliban and Pakistan are on same page as long world powers do not intervene.

At first, Kashmir can not be linked with terrorism.
Soon world will see the results of supporting a terrorist sitting in highest office of India.
Modi will soon shot it's feet, note it and write it.
Kashmir dispute should be resolved. Otherwise these incidents will continue.
I think it was india failure since plane was highjacked in India.
