One wonders if the media in Pakistan is adequately analyzing high profile visits to Delhi in a short span of a few weeks. "India is like a bride being wooed by many suitors. That's the description used for this country of a billion and more by Alexander Kadakin, Russia's ambassador to India, at a briefing in Delhi's diplomatic enclave last week."

On 21 December 2010, Russia President Medvedev signed a deal in Delhi on the joint production by Russia and India of a so-called fifth generation warplane shows defence ties reaching a new phase. India reportedly plans to take as many as 300 of the aircraft. On the nuclear front, Mr Medvedev agreed to provide another two civilian nuclear energy reactors in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, where Russia is already setting up two reactors.
Russia is Indias leading weapons supplier and in the last eight years Russias military export to India is estimated at $US10 billion. The Russian president, is joined by about 100 business leaders.

I am sure Pakistan and other neighbouring nations are fully aware of the current scenario in the region. There is no need to make a song and dance about it in public when each nation is armed to boot.Basically the next great war will be between Europe,USA,India and Israel versus China,Pakistan,Iran and the Middle East, not sure where the Russian's stand.

It's nothing to do with religion rather all about controlling the global oil supplies and other resources that mostly happen to be in the Muslim world.
