Strongest Argument for his continuing as DG ISI is that India and US does not like him,
Ok that has some merit BUT

He miserably failed in what he was supposed to do, keep our house in order
He should be sacked if he does not resign

and my argument is that his position will be very weak and compromised
US would want him to do more and more whereas they will have no expectations from new DG

Current Army bosses are Musharraf Baqitat as much Q League and Zardari
We need a departure from double game and being double faced.

GeoG, your analysis is good, the US wants him out. Once he is gone then they can recommend a person of their liking and Zardari Govt. will obliged them.

Hats off to Gen Pasha for his gesture, he has taken the responsibility of the incident, thanks God someone in this coutry is ghairatmand.

I remember once Sheikh Rasheed was asked to resign on some railway issue, he replied that "I was not he driver of that train that I should resign" what a shameful answer.

Look at the political leadership of this country, this zardar, rehman malik. gilani have no shame whatsoever they are just following one thing

I salute the change of mind in our galant forces. They first time surrendered to civilian ruller. Insha Allah with the faith and confidence and our support to our armed forces, will cross the bridge and will construct a better and stron pakistan.

The one who is guilty shd be punished and those ISI officials who were kicked out of ISI in Musharraf time ,shd also be under investigation............bcs they had soft corner for Al Qaida.....

Gone are the days Bhai when Gen ZiaulHaq, General Aslam Baig and General Kal.u (DG ISI not Altaf Hussain) were hand picked and bypassed the senior Generals, Army knows who is next in line like Judiciary now. There is a opposition in the country which let any such move succeed.
