And, he is denying a place to a younger and much better batsmen in Asad Shafiq and Umar Akmal. With his bowling form he is a burden on the team.

I also don't understand why Shoaib Malik is in the team instead of Asad Shafiq or Umar Akmal. In 5 ODIs he only bowled 3 overs at an economy rate of 7. Pakistan needs a complete revamp of the ODI team by dropping Misbah, Younis, Afridi and Shoaib Malik sooner than later.
