Six months down the road, these Metro buses will be in dilapidated condition, iron fences will be broken, electric elevators will be out of order, glittering bus station will be full of garbage and government will not have funds to maintain this project. Punjab is more than Feroze pur Road. It has population of 100 million.

If you read this thread ( Especially first page ) , you will find out how much Tax Payers money has been wasted in Punjab. Shahbaz Sharif did not flourish economy rather destroyed the economy. When Ch Pervaiz Elahi left, Punjab had a 100 billion rupees surplus budget. Within 5 years, when Federal Government diverted fund to Provinces, he not only ruined those funds into stupid Projects but also leaving he tenure with 100 billion rupees deficit.

Since Punjab Government has bought major media groups, therefore there is no news on all the financial scams. This is the sole reason why i created this thread to compile all financial mess in one place.

You might have witnessed that non of the big channels discussed the METRO PROJECT in details. Shahbaz Sharif appeared on some TV channels to defend the project. Surprisingly, non of the interviewer asked tough questions.

Our Big Critic columnist like Haroon Rahshid, Talat Hussain and Hassan Nisar made no efforts to put details of this project in front of public. They all are simply criticising but you don't see any technical analyses. This really sucks.

Fare hike requested even paid services did not start yet.. Punjab Government will keep the rates as it is until elections.
