NS had the right to fire musharraf but it was the wrong way to send someone home.when musharraf came ,he had 7 points agenda which people like .First three to four years he did well ,i admired and appreciated him on different forums but after that he became trapped or gone astray from his agenda,God knows the reason .A group of army led by a captain raped the lady doctor in Bughti area ,unfortunately the army captain was son in law of a general so he got of the hook but Akbar Bughti initiated a revolt on this point that the lady doctor was raped in his area and the culprits should be punished which was right to ask but it led to the death of Akbar Bughti and the nation is still paying the price for that.second as for CJ is concerned ,he was invited by Mr.Musharraf to president house and presented the reference which was nothing just a personel vendetta becaued CJ rejected the steel mills deal which was far less than the actual price.Mr.Musharraf did file a petition in the SC against CJ before which was rejected by SC ,musharraf wanted to run for president with uniform and he came to know ,SC will not allow him so he suspended the whole SC and house arrested them.Thats when he shot himself because lawyers and people could not digest it .Other than this, he attacked lal masjid and jamia hafsa where God knows how many our sisters and brothers died and gave afia siddiqui to US. If musharraf did't come under pressure from US and not take these useless steps , he could rule the country with respect but people have very bitter memories of his rule, I have nothing against him personelly .even if he did't leave the uniform,he could not rule because he made the whole country his enemy, some people still say he is 50% resonsible for the chaos in the country, i will talk about it some other time.

I agree with all of your points.I also want to add some other aspects of his Government which he intentionally ignored taking the advantage of somewhat lenient attitude of the anchor of this program.There were no follow up questions and not an iota of probing which was needed to be fair on both sides, and specially when the other side is not present to give their version of the events.
1- If you have noticed, he was hesitant calling out the names of the army generals who were involved staging this unconstitutional coup and ordering illegal command during the plane episode. He lumped sum the whole Army by calling it "counter coup" actions of few of his closest generals because there would be implications for them when this sbject ever come to the court again. He is not truthful of admitting his illegal take over of the legit civilian Government. There is no remorse on his part.
2- The accord he made with Nawaz Sharif at that time benefitted no one in Pakistan except himself personally. What are the legal aspects of his deal with Sharif Brothers ? How the nation benefitted by sending them to Saudi Arabia ? He himself took advantage of it by sending his political foe abroad.
3- In exchange of releasing them , why he conditioned them not to come back to Pakistan and take part in politics for 10 years.How was this condition beneficial to ordinary Pakistanis. How they benefitted with this condition ? what was the legal aspect of this condition ? Seems to me he was alone playing as a king of Pakistan without any due consideration of the laws and courts in the country.
4-If you carefully listen to him when he is describing his meeting with Benazir and his subsequent meeting with MLQ, It sounds like playing roulette with the destiny of 180 million people of this poor nation. It reminds me of a little poem" Khabernama" when these guys sit around the table and make important decisions for the rest of the nation."I" was misled. "I" thought it was better idea !!! I made the decision. I ......., I ........, I .........
5- He looked worried and disappointed with ex American Ambassador of Pakistan NW peterson. He called her remarks " undiplomatic" . I wish If he could have s***en the real truth about NRO and could have exposed American interest and guidance to him shaping up to that sordid deal. But being in to this slavery, it takes away your courage and your dignity when you acted on their interests and sold out your people for the luxury of your life in retirement.
6-When talking about CJ, he intentionally ignored the meeting in Army house where he first invited him and brought other Loyal Generals to gang up on CJ. He didn't need to even bother showing the references against CJ if he ever wanted to send them to the Supreme Counsel. As a matter of fact, he wanted Cj to resigned and He had Digar ready to take over.If you listen to him, he said that Cj came to his place himself. If that was the case, how come you had Dogar getting ready and was being brought from other city to Islamabad while Cj was being pressured in Army House ? Musharraf is lying. He is not coming clean and telling the truth.

Musharraf Bashing
Musharraf bashing has suddenly acquired a renewed hype in the media -more in the electronic than the print – ever since he announced entering into Pakistan politics.
The interested parties and their cronies are busy day and night in slinging mud upon him and his ‘dictatorial’ rule of nine years. Use of negative superlatives like “not at all”, “nothing what so ever”, “ruination of the entire economy” etc. are being used profusely, incorrectly and illogically more because of a fad than fact..
Ironically, some of the saner element, intellectuals and knowledgeable too have succumbed to the propa****a and lost sight of the reality.
No doubt Musharraf made mistakes – some blunders, but to say that nothing at all positive for Pakistan was achieved by him and his regime, is unfair.
Following are, therefore, just to recount some of his achievements:-

5. CNG sector has attracted over $70 billion investment in last 5 years; and created 45,000 jobs.
6. Telecom sector attracted around $10 billion in investment and created above 1.3 million jobs.
7. Industrial Parks are being setup throughout the country for the first time! M3 estate, Sunder industrial estate, Chakri, etc.
8. Major Mega projects like the Saindak, Rekodiq, Marble production, Coal production and Mining & Quarrying are being pursued.
9. In 2006, GDP growth is 6%. Earlier in 1999 was 3.5%.

I do , Mr. Azrana. And every conscious Pakistani should . The person who has ruled Pakistan for almost a decade with totall control and impunity, sitting in London making cliams of his great work while the nation is bearing the brunt of the consequences of his policies including NRO. Just look at the galls of this dictator and his supporters.My country is being rip apart with the continution of the policies of the dictator which were already compromised and promised for in order to get the save passage. If you are real patriotic and not Musharraf supporter, you should have held him accountable for at least the mistakes which he himself admitted. But why would you ? It defeat the purpose of supporting him. Doesn't it ?

have you ever held others accountable for their Mistakes(Blenders) ...Nawaz handed over Amal Kansi...Benazir announced to handed over Dr.qadeer khan but she killed before.....Y go far...tell me have U ever held accountable Nation that why Quaid-e-Azam ambulance was out of fuel(gas) and he died in the ambulance right in the middle of road....Man tell u the truth Nation is Thank Less. Nation is even Thank Less to Allah Almighty who blessed with this great piece of Land Called Pakistan....and this thank less nation is going to wipe off from the face of earth who lost in StarPlus darmas and bollywood movies day and night. So, the basis of your argument is since no one was held acountable , then why Musharraf ? You seem like a wise person and I do not want to answer an elementry school question since the answer of this question would not make a difference to someone like you. Those who promote the kind of vulgary you mentioned are those who also sold the daughters and sisters of this nation to get the reward.Rewards of being Mir jafar and Mir Sadiq.Those who lured the nation to this enlighted moderation have done so promoting short skirts and tight clothing for the marathones where each gender was allowed to mingled with other without any hindrence. You better turn around and look at your camp closely, you may find the answers to most of your questions.
Sir, if nation daughter/mother/sister wear short skirts and tight clothing and go out, i ask all nation fathers/brothers/husbands, are they blind? and can't see that type of dressing in their homes and can't do anything. I live in west and i see muslim families and girls, women who really follow their basic islamic values and dressing and follow Islam in pure sense not like Pakistani type of Islam.
