we are living in such a state where bloodshedding killing kidnapping has become common social evil throughout the country but what kind of violence broke out in Karachi and death toll reached hundreds and still increasing no body put ear to it mothers and daughters amd relatives and fathers crying on all tv channels but our government did not took notice until they got fear that army might took action and took over Karachi on their own still we as a nation still not much hopeful what kind of operation is being conducted there but meanwhile Shahbaz Taseer happened to be kidnapped in Lahore this morning and it is very strange that within half hour President took notice and prime minister been calling to Sherbano Taseer president calling Amna Taseer Interior minister ordering DIG Punjab and FIA that is very good efficient move to save his life and put the culprits to justice but Mr. President Mr. Prime Minister, Mr. Interior Minister what about the mothers crying in Karachi the daughters crying in Karachi the sons crying in Karachi relatives begging for mercy in Karachi do think about them as well

KArachi killing is a sectarian problem among gangs of PPP,MQM,ANP which doesnt affect pakistan reputation in world media!!

but if taseer son is murdered( hope he is safe);it will bring shame for your nation;His father was fighting for right cause[misuse of blashphemy against minority].

Humane rights organization will rip you off,world media will mock at you !!May be christians,hindus will lose all hope in pakistan;will seek for asylum in west and india.

ایم کیو ایم کے ردعمل کا رونا ہے، مگر ان ہزاروں معصوم مہاجروں کا خون شیر مادر سمجھ کر بغیر ڈکار مارے ہضم کر جاتے ہیں۔

اور اب سلمان تاثیر کے بیٹے کے اغوا کو شیر مادر سمجھ کر نگلنے کے لیے کبھی متحدہ کا بہانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے، تو کبھی کہا جا رہا ہے کہ دوسرے لوگ مارے جا رہے ہیں تو سلمان تاثیر کے بیٹے کے اغوا پر احتجاج کیوں؟ اللہ نہ کرے کہ آپ کی چہیتی اولاد یا پیاروں کو یوں اغوا کیا جائے اور جب آپ اس پر احتجاج کریں تو آپ کو یہ کہہ کر احتجاج کا حق بھی چھین لیا جائے کہ دوسرے لوگ بھی تو قتل ہو رہے ہیں۔

اور چونکہ یہ لوگ مذہبی جنونیت کی وجہ سے پاگل پن کی انتہا تک پہنچ چکے ہیں، اس لیے انہیں یہ اندازہ نہیں کہ سلمان تاثیر کے قاتل کو ہیرو بنا کر انہوں نے وہ "مائینڈ سیٹ" قائم کر دیا ہے کہ جس کے بعد فتنہ ہزاروں گنا پھیلے گا اور ہزاروں گنا زیادہ جانیں لے گا۔ اب سلمان تاثیر کے بیٹے کے اغوا پر احتجاج کو ختم کروانا اسی مائنڈ سیٹ کا فتنہ ہے۔ ​

This is my country and these are my countrymenmore does not need to be said, and some of the more atrocious comments that have been deleted should never be shared again.

None of these comments are justifying the abduction of Taseers son. What they all rightly pointing out is why the abduction of hundreds of Pakistanis is not high lighted by our corrupt media? Why only him?

What is wrong with them questioning the role of the media in Pakistan?
Let me ask you some questions.

1- What is your opinion of hundreds of poor people abducted and Murdered in Pakistan?

2- Dont they deserve same coverage by the media?

3- Show us one true example of an ordinary person, whose abduction was highlighted and then followed by the media on a grand scale?

4- Someone has rightly asked are the general public not human being? Or only these Medias darlings are the humans and others are animals or cattle that their abduction does not mean exactly the same?

Grow up man, we all are sad if he is abducted and hopefully he should be released. But no denying it, thousands of Pakistanis had been abducted and majority of them were killed, so he is no one special.

There is no doubt, our media is biased and bought out, they only follow the leads of their masters. We cannot trust them. If they were doing their jobs properly and exposing the real culprits who are involved in abduction and killing of Pakistanis then we wouldnt be facing this horrible situation of law and order.

There is no denying these criminal gangs have the backing of influential people and in many cases by the Police, otherwise they can not work with such impunity.

Let the corrupt media expose those influential people before we start trusting them. Until then you keep your venom to yourself and stop acting like a hypocrite.

Most of those influential people have nothing to do with Islam otherwise they wouldnt be involved in abduction and killing of innocent Muslims. Islam does not teach it. Most probably than not, these people are involved in alcohol and dance parties than religious fanatic as put by some.

Why you people always bring Islam in to the criminality of selected few? What is your agenda, really and truly?

Thats right, one should not reach conclusions before facts come out. If he is kidnapped for ransom its a fact and if he is kidnapped by extremists it is also a fact but having said so, the condemnation for abduction by extremists should be as loud as it is for normal circumstance.

LAHORE: The son of a Pakistani governor who was killed by his bodyguard for his opposition to a harsh blasphemy law this year was kidnapped in the eastern city of Lahore on Friday, police and the family said.
Four men on motorbikes intercepted Shahbaz Taseer in his car in the upscale Gulberg area and took him to a nearby street before kidnapping him, police said, quoting witnesses.
Shahbazs aunt Ayesha Tammy Haq, lawyer and columnist, has filed a petition in the court, DawnNews reported.
Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that the recovery of Shahbaz Taseer is going to be a big challenge for the Punjab Police.
Shahbaz was out with a friend when four unidentified people kidnapped him, his brother Shehryar Taseer told Reuters.
Shahbaz Taseer is a director in several companies his father founded, including Pace Pakistan Ltd., First Capital Equities Ltd., Media Times Ltd. and First Capital Securities Corp. Ltd.
Our family has been receiving threats from the Taliban and extremist groups, Shehryar said, adding they could be behind the abduction.

No one has yet claimed responsibility.
Punjab Governor Latif Khosa said the kidnappers were riding motorbikes and a jeep. Many people saw the kidnappers, he said. They were not wearing masks.
Shahbazs father governor Salman Taseer, of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party, was killed after he came out in support of a woman accused of committing blasphemy.
Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of four, was sentenced to death in a case stemming from a village dispute, putting the countrys blasphemy law in the spotlight.
This family has suffered too much already, and given the security threats directed toward them in the aftermath of Governor Taseers death this kidnapping underscores the failing writ of the state and its inability to provide security even to those known to be at high risk, said Human Rights Watch in a statement.
Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said Shahbaz had been provided an official security detail in addition to the private guards he kept. But he was without security at the time of the incident.
We are looking into it as to why this lapse happened, he told Reuters .
Shahbaz filed the criminal case against the bodyguard who killed his father in January.
