Rip off in the name of Utunes or a technical mistake by ufone

Got a ufone mobile number few days ago and it automatically subscribed me to a 'free' religious utunes service without my consent.

They just sent me a txt informing that these tunes are available. I ignored it as didn't want any tunes. Next thing I was subscribed to the utunes without my consent or me responding at all.

Following day I got message that i was charged 1.55 Rs per day for that tune that I never went for.Chatted with their customer service but he was in a hurry and told me how to unsubscribe and logged off shortly afterwards.

Wondering if thats happening to others and if it is normal or just me.
If they are doing it deliberately, imagine how much money they are making illegally, or maybe it is a technical glitch that only occurred in my case.

It is marketing tactics , These commercial companies are increasing sell and profit while using Quran as marketing tool.

It called use of religion for marketing ... to sell product with wrap of Quran .. But its good too may people get some morality , Although morals are touching low on index

Ufone sab say ziada hidden charges aur begar consent k packages subsribe kar deta ha... Sab say behtar coustmer service telenor ki ha...

yes it is true..they will subscribe you automatically for some service and will start charging you. when you call they will tell you how to unsubscribe...in some cases you wont be able to unsubscribe also due to same **** technical issue etc.

above that they charge you for calling their customer service still you have to wait for 10-30 mins to get somebody on other side. ufone sucks.

I see various people are experiencing the same thing. I think if we share this more and more on social media, they might mend their ways or people will be reluctant to subscribe to ufone and look for other vendors..

Transfer your number to some other network. I have mobilink , the cheapest 3g in the country and no non sense auto subscriptions.

mere pas 2011 se 2 ufone kay number hai per mere sath kabhi aisa ni hua aur inki customer service bi sab se behtar hy

I think they might be doing it with new customers or taking a chance as many others on this forum have experienced the same thing...

It is happening with the most , most of my family members have ufone and they complained the same. It is bullcrap
