A signed petition to News paper and Columnist

Guys I would suggest all of us should write an open letter to columnist with our profile declaration and signed petition to tell newspaper and columnists that they are doing a big harm to Pakistan and to credibility of media.

And also that they never stopped or protested against PMLN leadership when they abused women, men on live TV programs. But now when youth is reacting the same way they are labelling youth as PTI supporter just to give PTI a bad name.

Its not about Imran Khan's popularity but they have to understand that an overall reaction by youth on Abusives by Haneef Abbasi (kashmala Tariq case- the anchor always talk about high morals) and mushahidullah khan (Dr Alvi case) we are protesting and expressing our frustration. This frustration was given a right direction by PTI otherwise we would have done a tehreer square with all of them (politicians, judges, anchors, Generals ) .

Media could have stopped or censored these politicians but nobody can stop us on forums/internet/social media????

They will be answerable to ALLAH SWT on the day of judgment...

This is a very good step. Though I am sure that the established political mafias will try to emulate this by putting fake assets. Just for this reason extremely positive step will be wasted as the cheats and crooks who are in politics for the sole purpose of enriching themselves will find more creative ways to hid their wealth and show only 'acceptable' assets in their names.

One of the interesting, funny yet ironic thing i saw on these decalaration was under Dr. Arif Alvi's declaration:

Imran Khan robbed by armed men
ISLAMABAD, Oct 29: Armed men robbed Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan and his two young sons as they drove along the outskirts of the capital at dusk on Friday, his spokesman told AFP.

Mr Khan, his sons, aged seven and five, and their maid all escaped unhurt after they handed over cash, credit cards and his mobile phone, the PTI spokesman, Akbar S. Babar, said.

Mr Babar said the ambush appeared well planned as a vehicle pulled in front of Mr Khan's vehicle and forced him to stop on the side of the road about 6pm. When the PTI chief, who was driving, stopped the vehicle, two men brandishing semi-automatic weapons appeared from some bushes and demanded they hand over their valuables. "This shows an overall breakdown of law and order in Pakistan," Mr Babar said.

"Imran Khan feels that VIPs and ordinary people have no protection at all." As well as being a cricketing hero in Pakistan, Imran Khan, 51, is a member of parliament and a fierce critic of President Pervez Musharraf. His nine-year marriage to British socialite Jemima Goldsmith, which ended in June, also kept him regularly in the headlines. -AFP

Imran Khan looted, manhandled near Bani Gala

ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, chief of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf and member of National Assembly, was manhandled and looted at gunpoint by two armed men a few hundred yards away from his under construction house in Banni Gala on Friday evening.

Imran Khan was accompanied by his two young sons and their British governess. Imran Khan has termed the incident as total collapse of law and order in the federal capital. Two muggers riding a Suzuki pick-up intercepted Imran’s vehicle some 200 yards from main Murree Road and deprived him of cash, mobile phone set, credit cards, camera after mishandling him.

They also snatched the purse from the British governess who had accompanied Suleman and Qasim. After looting Imran Khan the criminals escaped towards Murree Road. The police claimed that both the culprits involved in looting, have been arrested from the outskirt of Banni Gala. They have been identified as Shakil and Javaid, both residents of a nearby village.

Gunmen rob cricket legend Imran


Pakistan cricket legend Imran Khan has been robbed by armed men in the country's capital, Islamabad. Mr Khan was driving with his two young sons when a vehicle pulled in front and forced him to stop, his spokesman said.


Two men appeared from bushes with semi-automatic weapons and Mr Khan was forced to hand over money, credit cards and his mobile phone. He and his sons, aged seven and five, were not hurt. Mr Khan, 51, is now a member of Pakistan's parliament.

His spokesman, Akbar S Babar, said: "This shows an overall breakdown of law and order in Pakistan. "Imran Khan feels that VIPs and ordinary people have no protection at all."


Mr Babar told the BBC that Mr Khan had been getting veiled threats about his opposition to President Pervez Musharraf but did not accuse the authorities of involvement. The legendary all-rounder played 82 Tests for Pakistan and led them to World Cup victory over Australia in 1992.


His high-profile marriage to British socialite Jemima Goldsmith ended in divorce in June. The BBC's Zaffar Abbas in Islamabad says some analysts regard Mr Khan as a confused politician, who backed General Musharraf at the time of his military coup and even in the referendum that legitimised his rule, but then turned against him to become one of his biggest critics.

Sharm kar sharm. I am just waiting for noora league to take such steps. Let say, I have spent lots of time and some money to get the information required. I will destroy any PMLN leader in minutes, guarantee. You guys are lucky thieves like Khawaja Asif face idiots like Kashif most of the time, otherwise it would spell a disaster for them.
Khawaja Asif and Ishaq Dar are the biggest looters in PMLN after the Sharifs. Reading Fahad's column that Asif is credible is rather disappointing. But then investigative Journalism is non existence in Pakistan. Asif is the biggest culprit to loot the Pakistanis wealth for the benefits of Sharifs. I have already written about Ishaq, he is a disaster in waiting, if Pakistanis don't learn now.

God bless Pakistan, my heart bleeds when I see such ridiculous media, who had and would continue to allow these thieves looting Pakistani poor.
