PPP is the one and only federal party in Pakistan and deterioration in PPP would mean weakened federal state of Pakistan. This country which is divided in infinite divisions, be it language, race or culture or religious sects, or take the caste systems and tribes..... A divided bunch of people and the only hope to keep them together seems to be PPP..... But on the other hand PPP is not only being damaged internally, but also by the establishment and establishment supported elements....
Compared to PPP, all other parties are completely regional parties and it may take another 100 years for them to get the kind of base which PPP has.... ANP, MQM and PMLN are all regional parties and MQM is better to be said as a city party.... Only PMLQ has a bit of say in Balochistan, other than Punjab, but that too is because of the tribal heads and their rivalry with each other.... Nothing to do with the political ideology....
Talking of ideology, I must add that PPP is the only party with an ideology in Pakistan alongside Jamati Islami..... Other parties are either ethnically formed or formed by establishment to create political polarity against PPP.
Its a pity really that this party is being damaged by every possible way and the current leadership is playing its role in damaging it as well.... Establishment always wanted to have sort of Muslim League party (which was at the creation of pakistan) who protect the interests of just the chosen few of country.. PPP was the first to talk about the poor, the first to give people its basic anf fundamental rights, the first to tell the nation what is law and constitution, the first to give people the power of vote and to tell them how important they and their opinion is.............
I pray that PPP becomes the same PPP with the same goals and efforts which were set at its inception.... Otherwise, there wont be a long living Pakistan.... It may live for a few years by destroying the only federal party but wont too long.....
I wonder if some of the senior members of PPP stand up and fight against the propaganda and conspiracies being crafted against PPP. Accepted that there have been some problems but I guess, everybody has tried to look down PPP for these problems.... instead if most of them would have tried to solve the problems along with PPP government and the energies used by these elements to malign PPP and its leadership, could have been used to solve and present solutions to the government.... It is really easy to point out mistakes and short comings but it is really difficult to face them and present logical solutions....
Again there have been mistakes made by PPP and its leadership but people have trusted them so everyone should have respected the mandate and should have helped in building Pakistan and getting it out of the deep shit.... What is media doing, specially a bigger section of media.... they are just digging a hole... I never see geo presenting something constructive and meaningful.... as of our nation, most of which is illiterate despite having so called education, loves to criticize and as a nation we are "TAMASHBEEN" , so media is trying to collect as much as possible by presenting Tamasha.... used the wrong word, Nation, in fact it is a crowd.....
