This poll is suggested by Shahid Ali

Do you think that political parties like PTI / MQM / JI could get majority in general elections under the prevailing feudal, tribal and biradri system of Pakistan? (without inducting these feudals in the party)

Do consider these points while polling:
1. Poll says “COULD” not “SHOULD”
2. More than 65% population of Pakistan lives in rural areas.
3. Remaining 35% has largely ethnic divides

It is not encouraging to see only 12 votes.

I would be very happy to learn from friends saying YES that if these political parties have gained voting support in rural areas?

I believe friends saying YES must have witnessed some change in politics of rural areas. I would be glad if updated about the names of such rural areas where these parties are getting support and orthodox feudals are in trouble.

Thanks n take care

Change process has already been started, when MQM was formed, unfortunately it was hijack by opportunist, but the way PTI is penetrating, this will give a big boost, because they are maintaining some rule of ethics, and this is going to be a big change, currently public have tried, every one, and everyone have failed, so very bright chances are for PTI and above mention people, who actually owned huge constituencies will broke up.

I pray, your wish come true soon.

I dont have too much realtime info about far flung rural areas of Pakistan. If you or some friends can give me hope by quoting 1-2 examples of these feudals thrashed by middle class leadership? It would be a breath of fresh air for me.

Thanks n take care

Dear Shahid,

You are very true, but on the other hand you will be agree, that we are a nation, who lives in dreams more than reality, somehow there has been a break through in feudal hold, and that is Judiciary, its like a very small hole in the boat, which starts licking water very slowly, but then all of a sudden, it explode and it poured, so change has already start, and we should hope for the positive, and help this cause to grow more faster with our positive attitude,

You can translate this in both ways i.e.

Paiwasta reh shajar say umeed-e-bahar rakh
OR
Living in a fools paradise

:)

It depends which angle you choose. But I believe Politics is a total reality game.

Secondly, Do you really believe that judiciary can do something against feudals? Or the ball has been taken from one and passed to another one? Sincerity of judiciary is not the question here but capacity or functionality is in question.

LOL [pk flag]

You are very correct, but things are changing, if one impossible can convert into Possible, why not to be more optimistic? we are not loosing anything, in fact we have nothing to loose.

Paiwasta reh shajar say umeed-e-bahar rakh

Living in a fools paradise

Love to live with both, and let others leave with their believes.

And I am 100% sure, Judiciary is going to play a major role to demolish this feudalism.

Regards.

I think PTI CAN TAKE MORE THAN WHAT EVERY BODY IS EXPECTING INSHALLAHA. My expectation is that only from NWFP they will take more than 40 seats altogether in national and Provisional Assembly.
