Pakistan rejects China’s demand to use its currency in Gwadar Free Zone

پاکستان نے چین کا گوادر فری زون میں چینی کرنسی یوان استعمال کرنے کا مطالبہ مسترد کر دیا

گزشتہ روز اسلام آباد میں سی پیک کی ساتویں مشترکہ تعاون کمیٹی کا اجلاس ہوا۔ وزارت مالیات اور اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان نے چین کا گوادر فری زون میں چینی کرنسی استعمال کرنے کا مطالبہ مسترد کردیا۔ چینی حکام سے ملاقات میں پاکستان نے چین کو اپنے موقف سے آگاہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس سے پاکستان کی اقتصادی اقدار کی خلاف ورزی ہوگی۔

چین نے گوادر میں یوان کی اجازت دینے کا مطالبہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ چینی کرنسی کے استعمال سے ایکسچینج سے جڑے خطرات سے بچاجاسکتا ہے۔

اجلاس میں چینی حکام نے یہ مطالبہ بھی کیا کہ پاکستان سی پیک کے راستے پر کسٹمز نگرانی کے علاقے قائم کرے جسے پاکستان نے تسلیم کرلیا جب کہ اس حوالے سے حتمی مسودے پر دستخط ہونے باقی ہیں۔

I can understand why they would make such a demand, but they should have eased it in, rather than asked it bluntly. It was a wrong demand to make off the bat.

hona kuch aesa hi ha. China will develop no go areas and housing societies in Pakistan where locals will be forbidden to enter. very much like the british areas during british raj.

Don't get too emotional guys, I am sure that even if we give all our country to them they can manage much better than our politicians and sure pakistani people be more respected worldwide. I know this is height of disappointment but this all we got from our politicians and establishment so far.

What is EU and what is Euro? and where do they use it? What was the purpose to create all this? Why Brit extracted them out of EU and who was behind this? At the end of the day who won and who was the real beneficiary and who suffered the most etc? And was it a good idea to create such alliance?
And at some point China Russia Pakistan and other CEPEC countries make such alliances and make their own currency who will benefit the most or who will suffer the most?
