ہمبن ٹوٹا ( مانیٹرنگ دیسک ) کرکٹ کی عالمی جنگ جیتنے کیلئے پاکستان پہلے معرکے میں حریف کینیا کو مزیدار چائے کے گھونٹ کی طرح پی گیا اور اسے 205سے شکست دیدی ۔ پاکستان نے کینیا کی ٹیم کو ایک سو اٹھارہ رنز کا ہدف دیا لیکن لیکن کینیا کی ٹیم ایک سو بارہ رنز پر ہی ڈھیر ہوگئی ۔پاکستان نے کینیا کے خلاف اپنے پہلے میچ میں ٹاس جیت کر بیٹنگ کر نے کا فیصلہ اور مایوس کن آغازکیا۔ اوپنرز محمدحفیظ نو جبکہ احمدشہزاد ایک رن بناکر آﺅٹ ہوگئے تاہم سابق کپتان محمد یونس اور کامران اکمل نے ٹیم کو سہارا دیا کامران اکمل نے 55 ، یونس خان نے 50 ،مصباح الحق نے 65 اور عمر اکمل نے 71 رنز جبکہ کپتان شاید آفریدی نے سات رنز بنائے۔ پاکستانی باﺅلروں نے کینیا کے کھلاڑیوں کو جم کر کھیلنے کا موقع نہ دیا۔ اور اس کی وکٹیں یکے بعد دیگرے گرتی رہیں

Pakistan 317 for 7 (Umar 71, Misbah 65, Kamran 55, Odoyo 3-41) beat Kenya 112 (Obuya 47, Afridi 5-16, Gul 2-12) by 205 runs

Kenya again appeared totally out of their depth and posed no challenge to Pakistan at Hambantota, Collins Obuya's death-or-glory 47 being the only highlight for them as Shahid Afridi helped himself to 5 for 16 in a massive 205-run win. Four of Pakistan's batsmen cashed in to raise half-centuries and set up a total of 317 for 7 after a brief wobble against the new ball and Kenya made little effort to mount a serious challenge in their pursuit, rather looking to a lay a solid platform in the hope of batting out their full quota of overs. That ultimately proved a futile effort, too, although their innings did at least last until the 34th over - longer than their entire match against New Zealand three days ago.

Its a quite relaxing start ......... Pakistan delivers the best :alhamd: ... now if I say something for improvement I know I will get tough remarks ...but I like to mention some of the points Pakistan need to think if they have to face big teams in tournament on a later stage ... They have to make this understand to openers that they do not need to take extra pressure instead they play their natural game in an easy environment .... and play their natural shots and take singles most importantly... as f boundaries are not coming and they were not getting any lose balls...... as Aussies and south Africans and even Sri Lankans bowled at very good line and length not easy to get lose balls from them .... next is that when Kamran Akmal gets all set... he lost his wicket in a very ordinary fashion which cannot be afford ina big match.. at that time momentum was there ...they just need to carry on instead of some careless and risky hitting .... which was not needed at that time ... although he batted remarkably well but he can do his century if he just carries on the momentum there... same with Younis..... so there is something which needs to be understand by our batsman .... one more that Pakistan has to decide which bowler should be play with to start the game... if Umer Gul start with Shoaib ...might be they need Wahab... may be they need both spinners.. Ajmal and Rehman so they need to drop a batsman.... as Razaak's performance in today,s match at bowling side was not convincing...he can bowl very well in middle overs but not at the start of the inning.... so Pakistan has to decide who going to open at very first ..... Much more work to do in order to get there ... though I am sure all our players are very capable to do all that INSHA'ALLAH AND AAMEEN .... ALL OF OUR PRAYERS AND BEST WISHES ARE WITH PAKISTANI TEAM ..... GO GUS BRING IT UP BACK HERE... ALL OF US ARE WAITING TO WELCOME YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
